Arthur G. Tesar Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Renewals only Residency Requirements: Southwest MO School Requirements: Must attend Ozark Technical Community College or Missouri State University Eligibility Requirements: 1. Must demonstrate financial need, as determined by FAFSA/EFC 2. Preference to students who will not receive a large number of other scholarships 3. Academic achievement 4. Personal letters of recommendation required Other Requirements: Renewals: Must maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 and full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours Giving limited to residents of Southwest MO.

Dr. William Walker Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: One $1,400 scholarship Residency Requirements: None School Requirements: Must be attending an accredited medical school in Missouri or Iowa Eligibility Requirements: 1. Must be entering final year in medical school 2. Must be a natural-born U.S. citizen 3. Must be developing superior clinical skills and demonstrating the ability to communicate with patients effectively with empathy 4. Preference given to veterans with fondness toward the U.S. Marines 5. Must be in top 15 percent of class 6. Two letters of recommendation from professor/dean required

AT&T Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship Value: $5,000 Classifications: Undergraduate Junior Minimum GPA: 3.0 Eligible Majors: Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems Eligible Schools: UNCF Member Colleges and Universities Eligible Locations: Missouri, California, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma Scholarship Detail: AT&T Foundation will award scholarships in the amount of $5,000 to selected recipients within their three service areas: Midwestern Region, Southwestern Region and the state of California.

NACA Illiana Region Scholarship for Student Leaders

For IL, IN and MO [St. Louis only] students.Scholarships are to be used for educational expenses, including tuition, books, fees or other related expenses. Green Law Firm Nursing Home & Elderly Care

Attorney Bill Green and his team at Green Law Firm are committed to improving the quality of care in nursing homes. With over 26 years of experience serving the community and many years fighting against low standards of elderly care, Bill is dedicated to promoting passionate students who are focused on making care homes a ‘home’ for our senior population. We are pleased to be offering a $1500 nursing scholarship to high-achieving students who are committed to elderly care and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Our hope is to further their professional development and continued competence, allowing them to improve the quality of life for seniors at nursing homes. ACS/Bayer Scholars Program

To qualify, a candidate must be: - African-American, Hispanic/Latino, or America Indian; - a U.S. citizen or permanent residents of the U.S.; - a full-time student at an accredited college, university, or community college; - high academic achievers in chemistry or chemical science; - able to demonstrate evidence of financial need according to the FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Applicants must be a high school senior, college freshman or sophomore enrolled in or planning to enroll in a four-year undergraduate program at a college or university in or near one of the following locations: Addyston, Ohio; Baytown, Texas; Orange, Texas; Berkeley, California; Goose Creek, South Carolina; Fitchburg, Massachusetts; Wilmington, Massachusetts; Kansas City, Missouri; Middletown, Virginia; Morristown, New Jersey; Ridgefield Park, New Jersey; Myerstown, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, New Martinsville, West Virginia; Shawnee, Kansas; Tarrytown, New York; or West Haven, Connecticut.

St. Louis Chapter 17 Scholarship Award

Scholarship applicants must be full-time students enrolled in a manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, or other related program at one of the following sponsored institutions: Jefferson College, Mineral Area College, St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, University of Missouri, Southeast Missouri Sate University, Southern Illinois University. Applicants from the above institutions must be: a freshman at one of the two-year institutions, a sophomore at one of the two-year institutions and accepted to one of the four-year institutions, or a junior or below at one of the four-year institutions. Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students applying in their freshman year of college must use their high school senior year as their GPA. At his level, eligible applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Each recipient must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and a minimum 3.0 GPA in manufacturing/engineering courses to continue their eligibility for this award throughout the academic year. Students may submit a scholarship application in succeeding years. Need is a consideration in awarding scholarships only when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.

Future Mechanic Grant

Trade School Future is an organization dedicated to helping future mechanics reach their full potential. Our country needs skilled automotive workers and we want to help. Each semester, we’ll be awarding grants of various amounts to students who plan on attending a trade or vocational school with the aim of becoming a mechanic. This scholarship is open to any prospective student in the United States who plans to enroll in a trade or vocational school, 2 or 4 year university, accredited community college or other automotive higher education institution within the next 12 months. The applicant must complete a short essay (500 words or less) detailing why they are pursuing an automotive degree. The applicant must provide a phone number and email address for correspondence about the grant award selection process. The Future Mechanic Grant for the Fall/Winter Semester is a one-time financial gift of $1,000. The grant will be awarded to the applicant who best answers the application criteria, including the short essay. The award funds may be applied to any expenses associated with pursuing an automotive degree or certification. This is a one-time financial gift and does not need to be paid back to Trade School Future.

Drone Technology College Scholarship

The Drone Technology College Scholarship will be awarded to current U.S. college or university undergraduates who demonstrate an interest in pushing the drone industry forward, as demonstrated in an essay of 750-1,000 words. Successful applicants will write thorough, thoughtful essays that dive deeply into the topic, and will have a strong letter of support. Two awards of $1,000 each will be given.

HSF/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or 5th Year Senior in the next academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree Must major in one of the following: Accounting, Aeronautics/Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Biology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics/Robotics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Information Technology (IT/MIS), International Business, Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Materials Science/Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Science, Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the geographic locations listed above. Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). DACA applicants must submit household income information.
