Some states or counties have hundreds of scholarships for which you may qualify.

Allied Health - Academic Opportunity Award

Scholarships are awarded to students in the following areas of study: Radiologic Technology (RT), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology (CVIT), Mammography (M) and Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS). These awards are for incoming freshmen only.

Alumnae Panhellenic Association of Great Kansas City

The Alumnae Panhellenic Association of Greater Kansas City is offering educational scholarships to female college seniors and graduate students who are sorority members, graduated from high school from one of the Districts in the greater Kansas City area, and are attending Kansas or Missouri Universities or Colleges. The Kansas City area is defined as Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri, and Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. Applicants must be a college senior or graduate student at the beginning of the NEXT academic year with at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average. Scholarships are limited to NPC Greek sorority members. Past recipients are not eligible to apply. All sorority women meeting these criteria will be considered.

Alumni/Faculty Endowment

Awarded to students majoring in Biology.

Amanda Blackburn Shinn Nursing

Must be enrolled in upper-level nursing program, have financial need, scholarship and leadership abilities.

Ameriprise Financial Planning Scholarship

Recipient must be Financial Planning major who has completed nine hours of Finance classes numbered above 300 before applying for scholarship and must have at least a 3.5 GPA for all Finance classes.

Amy L. Elkins Scholarship

Applicants must be majoring in Nursing.

Andrew Gottschalk Finance Scholarship

1. Awarded on basis of financial need. 2. Sophomore, junior or senior Economics and Finance major. 3. Recipient must have taken Principles of Economics Micro 201 and Principles of Economics Macro 202. 4. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 5. Recipient must be of good character. 6. Contact the Department of Economics and Finance for application information.

Andrew Keenan Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Pre-Law Graduates

Eligibility for this scholarship shall be in accordance with the Andrew Keenan Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Pre-law and Political Science Graduates Selection Standards.

Anna Knoll Scholarship

Recipient must be a History major with an interest in ethnic studies, who is a native of Kansas, with a preference given to students from western Kansas. Undergraduates and graduates are eligible.

Anna Reed Jansen Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Music major with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Ark River Bend Chapter, Soil and Water Conservation Society Scholarship Fund

Area of study will be in the Department of Agriculture. The scholarship will be available for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year students. The geographical area for the student is from the counties of Barber, Barton, Comanche, Edwards, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Kiowa, McPherson, Pawnee, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Rush, Sedgwick, Stafford or Sumner. A minimum GPA of 3.0 or above within the major is required. The scholarship will be $200 for the academic year awarded.

Arthur E. Andersen Accounting Scholarship

1. Full-time senior who has completed at least 18 hours of accounting courses. 2. At least 3.0 GPA through the junior year and pursuing career in public accounting. 3. Indication of financial need.
