Anna Kidd Scholarship

Recipient must be from Ellis, KS.

Children of Employees of A & A Coors, Inc.; Hays Scholarship

Application may be obtained from A & A Coors, Inc., East 8th Street, Hays, KS 67601 Eligibility for the scholarship will be: 1. Children of full-time employees of A & A Coors, Inc., Hays, KS., or Wholesale Beverage Co., Colby, KS. 2. Have a 2.0 GPA or better if continuing, or 1.0 for a first semester freshman. The freshman shall be limited to one semester unless the initial college semester GPA is 2.0 or better. In the latter case, the second semester allocation can be made. 3. No scholarship will be paid to any candidate or participant after age 25.

Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship

Phi Kappa Phi is Fort Hays State University's top university-wide academic honorary. Membership recognizes outstanding academic achievement. Each year, nationally the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards sixty Fellowships of $5000 each and forty Awards of Excellence of $2000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Each Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for the Society-wide awards. Students who are members or whom have been selected for memberships may apply during their senior year of the year before entering graduate study. Soroptimist International of Hays Violet Richardson Award

Recipient must be a female between the age of 14 and 17 who has made the community a better place through volunteer efforts. Obtain applications from Soroptimist of Hays, P.O. Box 1629, Hays, KS 67601.

Soroptimist International of Hays Women's Opportunity Award

Recipients must be women who are heads of households completing undergraduate programs or entering vocational or technical training programs. Applications available in the Scholarship Services officer or from Soroptimist of Hays, P.O. Box 1629, Hays, KS 67601.

Virmond-Heyl Scholarship

Recipient must be junior or senior woman, Kansas native, preferably from Ellis or Gove county.

Volga-German Scholarship

Sophomores, juniors or seniors continuing at FHSU who are enrolled full time and are direct descendants of settlers from the original six villages of Munjor, Pfeifer, Liebenthal, Schoenchen, Catherine and Victoria. Obtain applications from Eleanor Schippers, P.O. Box 95, Victoria, KS 67671.
