Bryan Tyler Jobe Memorial Scholarship

The Bryan Tyler Jobe Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to an amputee who is enrolled full-time at Fort Hays State University. This $500 scholarship can be used for tuition and books and will be paid at the rate of $250 per semester for the Fall and Spring semesters. Applicants may reapply annually. Wayne and Eula Cook SCholarship

Preference to students working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Biology who show financial need and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Campbell Family Scholarship

Must be juniors, seniors or graduate students majoring in History with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Campbell Family Art Fund

Scholarships for full-time students majoring in Art & Design.

Carl and Caroline Wheeler Book/Grassland Study Scholarship

Provides annual or semester book award for a FHSU student majoring in Grassland Studies and showing good academic performance.

Carolyn Miller Nursing Scholarship

Applicants must be Kansas students who are Nursing majors and have completed their sophomore year.

Cecile LaSalle Beougher Potential for Excellence in Teaching Award

1. FHSU elementary education (K-6) majors. 2. Have completed student teaching. 3. Be nominated by an FHSU faculty member or by the K-6 teacher under whom the candidate did student teaching. 4. Have received an "A" in directed teaching and a 3.5 overall undergraduate GPA. 5. Awards in the amount of $750.

Central KS Medical Society Fund

It is preferred the recipient be a Pre-Medicine student of western Kansas origin. Recipient should consider practicing medicine in western Kansas.

Charles and Ida Locke Vocal Scholarship

1. Students who demonstrate exceptional singing ability, preferably a female vocalist.2. Applicants should ideally have a major course of study in Voice, Music Education, or Vocal Performance. However, an exceptional student who is active in vocal performance with a major outside of the above mentioned areas could be considered.3. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 for all college work and a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA for those courses which are part of their major course of study.

Charles and Lura Stutzman Memorial Scholarship

Available to outstanding Agriculture majors.

Charles H. and Nita M. Landrum Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships are for junior and senior students majoring in History and Political Science. In even years, the scholarship will be presented to a History major; in odd years, the scholarship will be presented to a Political Science major. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and show strong leadership ability.

Charles N. Watson Memorial Scholarship

Available to students majoring in Journalism who have financial need and average grades.
