Oklahoma Scholarships

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, finance, economics, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, technology, plant pathology, plant/animal breeding and genetics, range/soil science or public service and administration in agriculture. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming required. No more than one scholarship per state.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Student Scholarships (Outstanding Accounting Student Award): For accounting students at a four-year college/university. Amount: $500 or more Requirements: Students must be juniors or seniors, have completed 60 credit hours, and be currently enrolled in or completed Intermediate Accounting II. Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most. Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

Requirements: * Must be American Indian; * Must be a member or descendant of a tribe in Oklahoma; * Must be a resident of the state of Oklahoma; * Must be enrolled full time; * Must be attending an eligible tribal college.

The former NACA South Central region established the Markley Scholarship in 1983. The scholarship is named for Larry Markley, the acknowledged founder of the former NACA South Central Region. The scholarship is to be used for educational purposes, such as tuition, fees and books. The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and honor involved students who have made significant contributions to the NACA Central Region and are located in the former NACA South Central Region. Up to two scholarships may be awarded annually. DEADLINE: Materials must be submitted online by Sept. 1. CRITERIA: A committee will select individuals who meet the following criteria: * Are strongly involved in and contribute to NACA Central * Demonstrate continued potential in the field of student activities * Are involved in and contribute to the field of student activities and/or student activities employment * Are involved in and contribute to other organizations * Are classified as a junior, senior or graduate student at a four-year school in the former NACA South Central Region (AR, LA, NM, OK and TX), or are classified as a sophomore at a two-year school in the former NACA South Central Region * Have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average * You must be a U.S. Citizen * High school students are not eligible.

We are pleased to be offering a $1500 nursing scholarship to high-achieving students who are committed to elderly care and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing.
