HSF/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or 5th Year Senior in the next academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree Must major in one of the following: Accounting, Aeronautics/Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Biology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics/Robotics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Information Technology (IT/MIS), International Business, Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Materials Science/Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Science, Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the geographic locations listed above. Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). DACA applicants must submit household income information. Will be invited to be mentored by a GE Hispanic Forum member and enrolled into a career readiness program Please check website for deadline of application.

David J. Crouse & Associates Public Service Scholarship for High School Students

If you are a graduating Washington State high school student planning to enroll in a 2-5-year institution to pursue a career in public service, apply today for the $2,000 David J. Crouse & Associates Public Service Scholarship. Read the Instructions and Terms and Conditions for more eligibility information. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating student of any Washington high school. This scholarship is designed for the student who desires to serve their community through joining the military, police, fire, or any other form of public service (medical, humanitarian, charitable, ministry, etc.). There is no preference to the form of public service intended. We look forward to helping one high school student each year to continue his or her education. David J. Crouse previously served in the United States Air Force, Washington Air National Guard and as a city police officer. He and the rest of the team here at David J. Crouse & Associates are excited to help someone else pursue their public service dream. To apply, create a short (30-120 second) video telling us how you plan to better your community through service in the military, police, or another form of public service. Applications are due June 1, 2018 for the 2018-2019 college year. For all future years, applications are due by May 1 for the following school year.

Washington State Endowment

The Washington State Endowment was established by the Washington State Council, March 21, 1988. The first scholarship was awarded in 1989. Requirements: GPA Min: 3.00 State: Washington If you have any questions, please contact the ESA Foundation scholarship chairman or ESA Foundation chairman. Do not contact ESA headquarters because the staff there cannot answer scholarship application questions. 1. All scholarships shall collectively be known as ESA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS. Applicant must designate, by name, the scholarship for which he / she is applying. 1. Per the Internal Revenue Service, Publication 520, a qualified scholarship is an amount received as a scholarship and may be used according to the condition of the scholarship for: Tuition and fees required to enroll in, or to attend, an educational institution, OR Fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for the courses of instruction at the educational institution. 2. Application must be submitted online at the Foundation website www.epsilonsigmaalpha.org/scholarship 3. Applicant must be one of the following: 1. A senior high school student who will be an incoming college freshman student with a minimum non-weighted cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, OR a minimum score of ACT 22 OR SAT [verbal / critical reading and math] 1030 OR GPA designated by specific endowment; 2.  A College student presently enrolled in an accredited college / university who has maintained a "B" average [3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale] during his / her college career OR GPA designated by specific scholarship; 3. A student returning to accredited college / university after period of absence from school must have at least a GPA of 3.00 on 4.00 scale; 4. Enrolled for training in a technical school or any person returning to school after an absence to retrain job skills or obtain a degree. [Post secondary students at any educational level]; 5. Enrolled in an online course through an Accredited College / University / Vocational school or an accredited program by an accredited agency to be eligible for online tuition credit.

Abby's Closet Dreams Scholarship

Tell us who you are and who you're going to be.​ Abby's Closet invites you to apply for this award if you are a female high school student graduating in 2018 from a school in Oregon or Washington and planning on attending the 14th Annual Abby's Closet Prom Gown Giveaway (April 7-8, 2018) at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.The applicant that best embodies the spirit and mission of Abby's Closet will receive a $2,000 scholarship award and attend a private giveaway to select their perfect gown and accessories. ​ A check will be written to the selected college/university/trade school after registration.

Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship

The Excellence in Ag Scholarship Program is intended to attract top-notch college students who are committed to lend their talents, education and initiative to improve, maintain, and bolster the agriculture (specifically potato) industry. Candidates should have a passion and willingness to work and attain a career that benefits the WA/OR potato industry and promotes pride in the agriculture industry.

Bill McKnight Legacy Scholarship

For students in the queer community studying Arts and Humanities with a preference for residents of Kitsap County/Bainbridge Island, Washington. Please check the website for any changes in application deadline.

Rainbow City Band Scholarship

For students pursuing degrees in music or music education. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community. All scholarships emphasize demonstrated commitment to equality and civil rights for all people.

Gray Wolf Ranch Education Scholarship

For students studying substance abuse counseling, addiction, and treatment. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community. All scholarships emphasize demonstrated commitment to equality and civil rights for all people.

Soaring Heart Scholarship

For students committed to offering compassionate support services to those dealing with illness, death, grief or trauma, especially where violent acts such as suicide must be addressed. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community. Vazquez Pride in Health Scholarship

For students pursuing advanced health care degrees (medicine, public health, and/or community health) with preference given to LGBTQ students of color, students who are Transgender/Gender Queer, or students who are from rural areas or plan to practice in rural communities. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Friends of Alan Turing Scholarship

For students who are pursuing studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community.
