Cora Stegner Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2002, provides a scholarship for students graduating from FCHS. Primary Consideration: Attending Ball State University. Secondary Consideration: Studying in the field of education.
Doug Stirn Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Established in 2002 by Rosemary Stirn, provides a scholarship for students graduating from FCHS who are deserving of financial assistance. Primary consideration given to students who plan to pursue a medical profession.
Warren Wyatt Wells Scholarship Endowment Fund
Established in 2002 by Yvonne Wells to honor her husband, an entrepreneur. The scholarship will provide an annual scholarship to a graduate of FCHS for the purpose of furthering their education.
Anderson Foundation Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Must be a resident of and plan to attend school in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Ohio. Applicant must have participated in community service.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,250 each, non-renewable.
Beck’s Hybrids Scholarship
EIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Must be resident of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. One scholarship awarded per state. Applicant’s family must be a Beck’s Hybrids Seed customer.AWARD: Five scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.
Casey’s General Stores Inc. Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/food service/landscape/nursery/ranch or wildlife management, communications, economics, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, power & equipment, conservation, plant or soil science, entomology, agricultural computer systems, agricultural public service or general agriculture with a career path in agriculture or agribusiness. Resident of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin required. Must exhibit strong leadership skills.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Chief Industries Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture. Resident of Indiana or Nebraska required.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.
Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agronomy, crop science, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, finance, sales, marketing, plant pathology/breeding/genetics, soil science or soil/water conservation. One scholarship will be awarded to resident of Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Two scholarships each will be awarded to residents of Iowa and Nebraska. Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 17 scholarships at $1,500 each, non-renewable
Fastline Publications Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing. Seventeen $1,000 scholarships to a member from Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina; Arkansas, Louisiana or Mississippi; Missouri; Nebraska; Pennsylvania or New York; Washington, Oregon or Idaho; Ohio; Oklahoma; Alabama, Georgia or Florida; Tennessee; Texas; Wisconsin. In addition, seven scholarships are available to FFA members pursuing a two-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing to the states of Kansas; Kentucky; Nebraska; Ohio; Oklahoma; Texas; Alabama, Georgia or Florida. Applicants must live on a family farm, exhibit strong leadership skills, financial need and demonstrate interest in managing a farm.AWARD: 24 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Fifth Third Bank of Central Indiana Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in any major. Resident of Adams, Allen, Bartholomew, Benton, Brown, Clay, Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, Parke, Ripley, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Vermillion or Vigo counties in Indiana. Attendance at an Indiana college or university required. Applicant must represent a minority ethnic group, exhibit strong leadership skills, exhibit financial need and have participated in community service. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
MetLife Foundation Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, finance, economics, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, technology, plant pathology, plant/animal breeding and genetics, range/soil science or public service and administration in agriculture. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming required. No more than one scholarship per state.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.
Paradise Tomato Kitchens Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in food science and technology. Must reside in and plan to attend a college or university in Indiana, Kentucky or Ohio. Preference given to applicants competing in state or national FFA sponsored events. Applicants must exhibit strong leadership skills and have work related experience in agriculture.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
