DeKalb Financial Credit Union Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:This scholarship is a one-time award to a graduating senior that is a DeKalb Financial Credit Union member pursuing any field of study. All branch locations are included (Angola, Auburn, Garrett, and New Haven, Indiana). Employees, board members, and committee members of DeKalb Financial Credit Union are not eligible. Relatives (see Scholarship Eligibility Policy) of employees, board members, and committee members are not eligible as well.Applicant must also:• Be a DeKalb Financial Credit Union member• Have a grade point average of B- or higher• Be involved in the community• Have a part-time job or extra-curricular activity• Enroll, or intends to enroll, full-time at an accredited post-secondary educational institution (Both 2 and 4 year degree programs are eligible.)

Chapter 56 - Ft. Wayne Scholarship

Criteria: All applicants must be seeking an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, engineering technology, or industrial technology at an accredited public or private college or university located in the state of Indiana. Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 point scale When making the selection of recipients, the scholarship committee will give consideration to the following preferences: First preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are a child or grandchild of a current SME Fort Wayne Chapter No. 56 member. Second preference will be given to SME student members of student chapters that SME Fort Wayne Chapter No. 56 sponsor. Third preference will be given to scholarship applicants who reside within the state of Indiana. Fourth preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are planning to attend a college or university located in the state of Indiana.

Ballinger, Ann D. Scholarship

Limitations: Returning adult students. Students must be 24 years or older and be returning to school after an extended period of time. For returning adults planning to attend an accredited college, university, vocational, or technical school to develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of vocational and technical training.
