Cecil E. Harlos Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: * Awarded to members of Delta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega who are currently living in the house. * For more information, contact the VP-Scholarships.

Carter Littell Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: * Awarded to students working toward a degree related to health care services, particularly the treatment of physical and mental handicaps. * Applicant must be currently enrolled in the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER). * For more information, contact the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER).

Charles H. Ireland Achievement Scholarship

Eligibility: * Awarded to members or pledges of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. * Academic excellence and experience in extracurricular activities are required. * Recipients are chosen by the Scholarship Committee members of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. * For more information, contact the Delta Tau Fraternity.

Chi Omega Scholarship

Eligibility: * Students must be recommended by the Corporation Board of the Theta Beta chapter of Chi Omega and approved by IUF. * For more information, contact Gloria Smith at [email protected], vice president of Theta Beta Corporation.

Dr. John A. Schram Scholarship

Eligibility: * Awarded to active members of the Alpha Omicron chapter of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. * Awarded to full-time students. * Academic excellence and experience in extracurricular activities are required. * For further information, contact your House President.

Yenerich Brothers Delta Upsilon Scholarship

Eligibility:# Awarded to active members of Delta Upsilon Fraternity with a minimum 3.0 GPA.# Students must be in good standing with Delta Upsilon Fraternity and have no outstanding house bills, fines, or fees.# Preference will be given to students in the liberal arts or the Kelley School of Business who demonstrate exceptional leadership within the Delta Upsilon house at IU Bloomington and a strong record of participation in extracurricular activities on campus.# A brochure and application form are available from the current Delta Upsilon VP-Scholarships.

Zeta Tau Alpha 50th Anniversary Fund

Eligibility: * Awarded to active members of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority with a minimum 3.0 GPA. * Experience in extracurricular activities is required. * For more information, contact your Chapter Advisor.

Bloomington Press Club

Eligibility: * Awarded to students interested in serving as interns for local social service agencies. * Students must be prepared to give approximately 150 hours of their time in exchange for the stipend and have writing skills applicable to the production of newsletters, press releases, brochures, and other promotional materials. * A not-for-profit agency will be selected for each intern. * Two $1,000 stipends will be paid in three installments during the semester. * Contact Jan Skinner, chair, for an application and further information at 812-333-4245 or [email protected].

Virginia Feltus Scholarship for Delta Gamma

Eligibility: * This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to an active member of the Theta Chapter of Delta Gamma. * For further information, contact Susie Kyle, House Director.

The Maurice and Robert Early Scholarship

Named for Indianapolis Star political writer Maurice Early and his brother, Robert, managing editor of the Star for 33 years.Early scholarships are awarded to undergraduates at Indiana colleges and universities who are oriented toward careers in journalism.

Sonya Baker-Hallett Tri Delta Scholarship

Established by a Franklin College Tri Delta alumna to fund one-time scholarships to Tri Deltas who exemplify the organization’s mission of advancing women’s education and philanthropy. Criteria: Involved with philanthropy and community service Taking advantage of Franklin College’s Winter Term travel programs GPA of 3.0 or above Residential ties to Johnson, Marion or Clark counties Items Required in Addition to Application: To apply, obtain a separate application from Franklin College or a Delta Delta Delta representative. The Mary H. Craig Memorial Journalism Scholarship

Established in memory of Mary H. Craig to honor her and her spirit of excellence and education. This scholarship is to recognize a sophomore or junior at Franklin College who is majoring in journalism. ➥ Obtain a separate application from the Franklin College Pulliam School of Journalism. Criteria: ▪ Must be entering the junior or senior year at Franklin College ▪ Must be majoring in journalism ▪ Must be enrolled full time and in good standing with the college ▪ Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale ▪ Must have graduated from an accredited Indiana high school ▪ Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and sustained effort toward academic and life goals, and articulate a life plan for a career in journalism ▪ Must be deemed worthy or deserving by the committee for this award by virtue of character, academic excellence and leadership traits ▪ Include a brief essay describing your life plan for a career in journalism
