Some states or counties have hundreds of scholarships for which you may qualify.

Marjorie H. Bright Scholarship

Eligibility: • Letter of recommendation from a faculty member• Financial need required; • Unofficial copy of most recent college transcript (also applies to continuing CSU Stanislaus students)• Interview may be required* Past recipients encouraged to apply GPA: 2.50

Mary Stuart Rogers Scholarship

Eligibility: • Be of junior or senior status with successful completion of two years (56 units) of undergraduate work with a minimum GPA of 3.50 Financial need required • Statement of Objectives should convey a demonstrated commitment to personal growth and the desire to serve others• Two letters of recommendations from faculty members• 300 word essay describing “Why I want to be a Rogers’ Scholar.” GPA: 3.50

Narsai David Scholarship

Eligibility: • Statement of Objectives must include background of student in addition to career, educational goals and achievements• Must include one letter of recommendation from a CSU Stanislaus faculty member within major or area of concentration GPA: 3.00

Phi Kappa Phi Student Scholarship

Eligibility: • Active Phi Kappa Phi, Chapter 282 student member• Junior/Senior/Graduate standing* Contact Phi Kappa Phi Office directly (667-3082) for application information and deadline date. GPA: 3.75 UG / 3.80 GR

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship

Eligibility: • Must have at least 24 units college coursework completed • Must include letter of recommendation from a Phi Theta Kappa advisor GPA: 3.50

Soroptimist International of Turlock Scholarship

Major: OPEN TO ALL MAJORS GPA: 3.00 Class Level: Incoming freshman

Thomas James Young Memorial Scholarship

Major: OPEN TO ALL MAJORS GPA: 2.50 Class Level: All students • 300 word essay required on Conflict Resolution Management GPA: 2.50

Trustees Award for Outstanding Achievement

Eligibility: • An official copy of the most current college transcript (also applies to continuing CSU Stanislaus students)• Two letters of recommendation required, at least one of them from an instructor• Financial need required • Student must be in good standing and maintain academic progress* Student will be nominated for scholarship. Selection of recipient is made by the Chancellor’s Office GPA: 3.00

Turlock Lions Club Scholarship

Eligibility: • Son or daughter of Lions Club member• Must provide letter verifying membership from local chapter of Lion’s Club• Completion of 28 units GPA: 3.20

Valley First Credit Union Scholarship

Eligibility: • Must be a member of the Valley First Credit Union GPA: 3.00

Wesley W. Hall Scholarship

Eligibility: • Must be a member of the Valley First Credit Union GPA: 3.00

Alan Pattee Scholarships

The children of deceased public law enforcement or fire suppression employees, who were California residents and who were killed in the course of law enforcement or fire suppression duties, are not charged fees or tuition of any kind at California State University, according to the Alan Pattee Scholarship Act, Education Code Section 68121. Students qualifying for these benefits are known as Alan Pattee Scholars. For further information, contact the Director of Admissions and Records.
