California Scholarships

Parent must be employee of Farmers Insurance.

Giving primarily focused on organizations within or those offering services to El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties, CA. No support for sectarian purposes or private foundations.

To students who are pursuing a recognized graduate or professional degree, have not completed more than four quarters of full-time graduate work as of Oct. 1, and intend to become college or university faculty members. Selection is based on state manpower needs, academic performance, and financial need. Applicants should apply using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Awarded annually to a student in the Counseling Psychology Program who is selected by the faculty for academic achievement in the study of cognitive/behavioral psychology and its application in a clinical/ educational setting. Applicants must have completed 45 units, with a GPA of 3.5 or above. For students in Counseling Psychology Program

This fellowship provides a stipend from the proceeds of the endowment and may vary from year to year.

Awarded periodically in memory of Janice M. Kyne to a student in special education who exemplifies Kyne's qualities of leadership, collaboration, sensitivity to parent concerns for their special children, and the ability to advocate for special-needs children, even in the face of adversity.

Annual scholarship to a qualified graduate student accepted to the Educational Administration program.

Annual award to a student who has completed, with a GPA of 3.25 or higher, at least one-third of a Santa Clara program in teacher education, special education, or educational administration.

For Counseling psychology and education students who are enrolled full time (at least 9 quarter units) and who show some need.Students must apply for this scholarship annually through the Admissions Office.

A 20 percent tuition remission for full-time teachers, counselors, and administrators employed by the Diocese of San Jose who are taking degree and nondegree graduate courses in the Division.

5 annual full-ride scholarships for both domestic and international students, These Global Merit Scholarships are automatically renewed annually, subject to the student's continued Satisfactory Academic Progress.
