Tennessee Scholarships

The scholarship shall be awarded to: 1. A freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior collegian member of Alpha Eta/Vanderbilt University or Eta Phi/Belmont University or with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. 2. Should no applicants meet the criteria stipulated in #1, the scholarship shall be awarded to a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior collegian member of a college chapter in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, or Tennessee who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. 3. Should no applicants meet the criteria stipulated in #1-#2, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the year for which the scholarship is awarded. 4. In the event Alpha Eta is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Alpha Eta is reestablished, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Alpha Eta, a collegian member of Eta Phi, or a collegian member with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Alpha Eta or Eta Phi or members with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. 5. In the event Eta Phi is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Eta Phi is reestablished, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Eta Phi, a collegian member of Alpha Eta, or a collegian member with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Alpha Eta or Eta Phi or with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria.

Eligibility: Applicant must be a graduating Hamilton County, TN high school senior planning to attend a regionally accredited, non-proprietary, technical, community or four year college/university in the fall of his/her graduating year. Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale

In the past 20 years, the Educational & Memorial Foundation of the Tennessee Society of CPAs has provided more than $2 million in scholarships to deserving Tennessee accounting students. Scholarships are available to students who have completed introductory accounting courses and are majoring in accounting. The committee's goal is to encourage students to enter the accounting profession. Only students who are residents of Tennessee, U.S. citizens and attend a Tennessee school are eligible for this scholarship. Check the website for updates on application deadline.

Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most. The Ben Glo Foundation Inc. Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher majoring in mathematics, science, or medical field and with a demonstrated financial need.

Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

Those eligible to apply must be a high school senior, college freshman, sophomore, or junior accepted to/or attending Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, as a commercial music major.

We understand the overwhelming number of career opportunities available to students and how difficult this can be to navigate. For the 2019 award, we have doubled the value to $1000 to further our support of students and their education. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. A specific major is not required for this award, but the applicant should have above a 2.4 Grade Point Average.

Criteria Applicants must:  Be full-time, matriculated undergraduate students in good standing at the time of the application and during the semester in which the award is received  Demonstrate significant leadership skill and ability  Hold a significant leadership position on campus  Have made significant contributions via volunteer involvement, either on or off-campus; and,  Be enrolled in a college or university within the NACA® South Region. NACA® membership or involvement is not a criterion for selection. Application Process To apply, the following materials must be received in the NACA® Office no later than March 31:  A completed and signed application form  A least two letters of recommendation, which may be attached to the application form or forwarded separately to the NACA® Office. These letters should be from administrators or faculty who are well-acquainted with the applicant as a student leader, and should specify the applicant’s leadership positions, responsibilities, skills and ability, training and accomplishments  A resume or description of the applicant’s leadership activities, skills and ability, training and accomplishments  A verification from the college/university registrar confirming the applicant’s enrollment status
