Here are some of the Health Care scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Mental Health Education Scholarship

Vantage Point Recovery is offering our annual General Education and Mental Health Education Scholarship! We are dedicated to helping to support education specific to mental health. Any student currently enrolled in an accredited college is considered eligible.

Eugen Grabschied Scholarship Fund

Awarded to dependent children of police employees who are studying for a degree in the medical profession.

The Healthline & NORD Stronger Scholarship

This year’s scholarship is dedicated to the advancement of rare and chronic diseases, either through research, patient advocacy, raising awareness, or community building. The program will award four students with a $5,000 scholarship each.

Donegal Foundation Student Scholarship

The Donegal Foundation has scholarship monies available for students pursuing post-high school educational studies in fields related to Health Care. Students will be judged by a panel of teachers, administrators and local community representatives based upon the completion of the scholarship application.

Terry Linda Potter Scholarship Fund

Available to current high school graduates majoring in a health-related field at an accredited two-year or four-year college. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and scholastic ability. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive process which considers financial need, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, educational goals and personal aspirations. The community foundation's Board of Trustees has final approval of scholarship recommendations made by the foundation's Scholarship Committee or the advisory committees of certain scholarship funds. Scholarship amounts vary based on annual income available from each fund.

Aurora Medical Center AMG Oshkosh Family Scholarship

Special Qualifications:• Applicant is preferred to be a part of/or have a family member that is part of the Aurora Family.Requirements:# Transcripts# ACT or SAT# ReferencesOther Requirements: • Applicant must be pursing a career in health care or a related field.Not renewable.

Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship - Undergraduate Students

Criteria for Application: 1. Applicant must be a current member of SHAPE America. Undergraduate students may join at the time of application. 2. Applicant must be majoring in the field of health, physical education, recreation or dance. 3. Applicant must have college junior or senior class standing at a baccalaureate-granting college/university (completed a minimum of 60 semester/90 quarter units of college courses). 4. Applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 overall on a 4.0 grade point scale. GPA scores from all institutions attended in pursuit of applicant's current degree must be factored into the overall GPA. 5. Applicant must be a first time Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship recipient. Criteria for Selection 1. Scholastic proficiency 2. Evidence of leadership 3. School, community, professional activity/service 4. Character attributes Application Procedures The following materials (see website for more information) must be submitted electronically or by mail by October 15. Incomplete applications and those not strictly adhering to the directions for submission will not be considered.

Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship - Graduate Students

Criteria for Application: 1. Applicant must be a current member of SHAPE America. Graduate students may join at the time of application. 2. Applicant must be majoring in the field of health, physical education, recreation or dance. 3. Applicant must be enrolled in a matriculated full-time masters or doctoral program. One semester of full-time study in the field of health, physical education, recreation or dance must be completed in pursuit of applicant's current degree. *Doctoral candidates working on their dissertation must be no more than one year beyond coursework completion. 4. Applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 overall on a 4.0 grade point scale. The following guidelines should be used when reporting the GPA: * First semester Master's and Doctoral candidates: GPA based on most recent degree obtained. GPA scores from all institutions attended in pursuit of applicant's most recent degree must be factored into the overall GPA. * Master's/Doctoral candidates beyond first semester: GPA based on applicant's current program. GPA scores from all institutions attended in pursuit of applicant's current degree must be factored into the overall GPA. 5. Applicant must be a first time Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship recipient. Undergraduate recipients are ineligible for the graduate scholarship award. Criteria for Selection 1. Amaze Yourself Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING PURPOSE At Landau, we are looking to support an amazing, new generation of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a positive social impact by way of healing. We want to help and impact amazing individuals dedicated to the pursuit of wellness and positive social change who are manifesting their passion to a career in healthcare or science-related fields by way of secondary education. CONTINUED EDUCATION SUPPORT We are proud to have the opportunity to assist you on your path to being amazing. Landau’s commitment to you goes beyond funding your education; we want to ensure you have the resources needed throughout your education and professional development. The top scholarship winner will receive 4 packages a year from Landau that will be tailored to their needs as a student. Communication will need to stay open with the Landau team to ensure they are fully prepared to take on each chapter of academic pursuits. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA • Education Level: Any persons pursuing secondary education. • Majors: Any major related to healthcare or science. • Age: 17+ • You must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, at least 17 years of age, located in the United States or D.C. and on track to apply for or currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational programs located in the United States or D.C. (including accredited two and four-year colleges, universities, vocational-technical and trade schools). • You’ll have to identify the specific secondary education program, college or certificate/degree option you want to get into, or for which you need funds. You may be looking to enroll or already enrolled in this secondary educational program. • You must be willing to work with Landau’s Scholarship Management team throughout the application and award process.

APIASF/United Health Foundation Scholarship

Minimum Eligibility Criteria Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply Be enrolling in a U.S. accredited college or university in the Fall. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED Must apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 15 Submit one letter of recommendation online. Plan to pursue a degree that will lead to a career in the health field. Scholarship recipients must be majoring in a health field to receive renewal scholarships Demonstrate the intent to work in an underserved community Preference for students fluent in an Asian or Pacific Islander language Students must reside in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, KS, MN, NC, NM, NV, NY, TN, TX, WA or WI Preference for students who intend to transfer from a 2-year to a 4-year institution Enrolling as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student in the upcoming academic year

Vazquez Pride in Health Scholarship

For students pursuing advanced health care degrees (medicine, public health, and/or community health) with preference given to LGBTQ students of color, students who are Transgender/Gender Queer, or students who are from rural areas or plan to practice in rural communities. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community. All scholarships emphasize demonstrated commitment to equality and civil rights for all people.

The American Indian Nurse Scholarship Awards

Since 1928 The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America has provided a small number of scholarship awards to assist students of American Indian heritage who are pursuing degrees in nursing or in the field of health care and health education. Eligible students receive $1,500 per semester and the money is to be used strictly for tuition, books or fees applicable to the student’s approved program. The grant is sent to the school and credited to the student’s account. Once a student is accepted, he or she may re-apply for continued funds each semester as long as the student remains in academic good standing. To be eligible for a scholarship, the candidate must be:  1/4 American Indian, enrolled in a tribe. If not enrolled, the student will be considered if he or she can prove direct tribal ancestry.  A high school graduate or have equivalent education  Enrolled in an accredited school  Enrolled in the nursing program, having achieved good scholastic standing in pre-nursing; or, enrolled in a health care or health education program  Expected to graduate two years after enrollment if in an Associate Degree program  Expected to graduate in four years if pursuing a B.S.  Post graduate students are also eligible  Maintaining the scholastic average required by the school  Recommended by their counselor, teacher or other school official  In need of financial assistance  Not receiving an Indian Health Service Scholarship  Should have a career goal directly related to the needs of the Indian people
