Some states or counties have hundreds of scholarships for which you may qualify.

Edward N. Sands Scholarship

The Trustees of the Ed Sands fund encourage residents of Liberty Union-Thurston school district who feel they have a financial need to apply. They must be attending an Ohio tax supported institution of higher learning.Applications for this scholarship are available at the Liberty Union Guidance Office.

Chad Welch Memorial Scholarship

As a memorial to Chad Welch, a scholar-athlete at Liberty-Union, thisscholarship honors students who have excelled in athletics and academics at Liberty Union. Include in your application your athletic participation at Liberty Union and the years of involvement in each sport. (List sports & years of involvement).

John Morrow Music Boosters Scholarship

Established in 1998 and formerly known as the Pickerington Music Boosters Scholarship, the Music Boosters will select participants in the Pickerington Music program to further their post-secondary education in the area of music.NO APPLICATION.

William W. Bolsen Memorial Scholarship

To provide scholarships for graduates of the Ohio State School for the Blind who wish to work toward a degree from a technical, 2year or 4 year college.

Amelia Fickel and Glenn Moodie Scholarship

For graduates of Perry-Southern Local School District. Special consideration given to graduates who are residents of the former New Straitsville School District. Selection shall be based on financial need. May be awarded for a four year, two year vocational or technical college education.

MusicAuthority’s Annual Music Lovers Scholarship

MusicAuthority recognizes the positive impact that music can have on a student’s learning experience. Studies have shown how music can enhance learning- from improving memory performance to relieving anxiety, music can be a great component to aid a student’s college experience. We are proud to offer our $1,000 scholarship to one current or prospective student. We will be offering this scholarship on a continual basis and we are excited to promote a passion for music and higher education.

Tractor Supply Company Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Applicant must complete financial analysis section of application and exhibit financial need. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin required. Recipients shall allow Tractor Supply Company to use photographs of themselves and their families in company advertising.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $3,000. Not guaranteed.

Anderson Foundation Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Must be a resident of and plan to attend school in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Ohio. Applicant must have participated in community service.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,250 each, non-renewable.

Blue Seal Feeds Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal science or marketing at Cornell University, Penn State University or Virginia Tech. Resident of Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or Virginia required.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Farm Credit Services of Mid-America Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agribusiness, economics, finance or accounting. Must be resident of Kentucky or Ohio. (Indiana and Tennessee residents may apply for the FFA-Farm Credit scholarship through their state office.)AWARD: Two scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agronomy, crop science, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, finance, sales, marketing, plant pathology/breeding/genetics, soil science or soil/water conservation. One scholarship will be awarded to resident of Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Two scholarships each will be awarded to residents of Iowa and Nebraska. Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 17 scholarships at $1,500 each, non-renewable

Fastline Publications Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing. Seventeen $1,000 scholarships to a member from Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina; Arkansas, Louisiana or Mississippi; Missouri; Nebraska; Pennsylvania or New York; Washington, Oregon or Idaho; Ohio; Oklahoma; Alabama, Georgia or Florida; Tennessee; Texas; Wisconsin. In addition, seven scholarships are available to FFA members pursuing a two-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing to the states of Kansas; Kentucky; Nebraska; Ohio; Oklahoma; Texas; Alabama, Georgia or Florida. Applicants must live on a family farm, exhibit strong leadership skills, financial need and demonstrate interest in managing a farm.AWARD: 24 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
