National Debt Relief will award 5 scholarships of $1,000 each to outstanding college students pursuing studies in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields.

Orangesoft offers a scholarship dedicated to female college or university students pursuing STEM, or other technology-related studies and careers. Write an essay on one of the following topics: 01 What challenges do women in tech face? What solutions to these challenges can you propose and why? 02 Why does the IT-sphere need women, and what impact do you believe you could make in the industry? 03 How to inspire other women to choose a tech specialty?

Purpose: The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation offers these scholarships to provide a continuing source of highly qualified individuals for academic study and research in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering. Programs Funded: Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually. Junior-level scholarship recipients are eligible for a maximum of two years of scholarship support, and senior-level scholarship recipients are eligible for a maximum of one year of scholarship support. Eligibility: Sophomores and juniors who are outstanding students intending to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering may be nominated by the college. The Proton OnSite scholarship program has been successful in supporting future leaders in science and technology, through college scholarships. A restructuring of the program, and one that focuses on a contest aspect, builds on that history while broadening the potential number of entries. Established in honor of AIA Honorary President Jane Waldbaum, this scholarship is intended to help students who are planning to participate in archaeological field work for the first time. Students majoring in archaeology or related disciplines are especially encouraged to apply. The Scholarship Fund provides $1000 each to help pay expenses associated with participation in an archaeological field work project (minimum stay one month/4 weeks). The scholarship is open to students who have begun their junior year of undergraduate studies at the time of application and have not yet completed their first year of graduate school at a college or university in the United States or Canada. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must not have previously participated in archaeological field work of any kind. The committee will consider both academic achievement and financial need in its deliberations. AIA scholarships are open to students from all backgrounds. The Waldbaum Scholarship will be awarded to junior and senior undergraduates and first-year graduate students only. All applicants must complete the following: Complete online application form Provide names and emails of two references. Your references will receive an email with instructions for submitting their recommendations online. You are responsible for ensuring that both referees have submitted their letters of recommendation online by the application deadline. Send transcripts: Transcripts must be official and include at least two full years of completed college-level work (4 semesters or 6 quarters), not counting AP credits. If you are a transfer student and have attended your current school for less than two years, please submit transcripts from your previous school(s) in order to provide a record of at least two full years of completed college-level work (4 semesters/6 quarters), not counting AP credits. Post-Baccalaureate and first year graduate students must submit both undergraduate and post-graduate transcripts.

Purpose To introduce undergraduate students to pharmacology research in order to heighten interest in science as a career, with an emphasis on pharmacology graduate training to increase the number of young scientists entering the research discipline of pharmacology. The SURF individual awards are intended to support students whose institutions do not have a currently funded SURF program. To check if your institution has a SURF program, check website. Who Should Apply: Undergraduate students conducting pharmacology-related research including, but not limited to, students representing departments of pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, and/or biological chemistry. Program Requirements The sponsor must be a regular member of ASPET in good standing or a retired member who is still active in research. Students are expected to work on a research project with some degree of independence. If awarded, ASPET will provide a student stipend of $2800 for a minimum of ten weeks participation in the program. The sponsor is expected to sponsor the SURF Fellow for student membership in ASPET at the beginning of their summer research experience. Undergraduate student membership in ASPET is free. Applications from women and underrepresented minorities are particularly encouraged. Purpose: To support remote sensing education and stimulate the development of applications of high-resolution digital satellite imagery for applied research by undergraduate or graduate students. Eligibility: Full time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited college or university in the USA or Canada with image processing facilities appropriate for conducting the proposed work. Student member of ASPRS Award: A grant of satellite imagery data up to 500 square kilometers (potential value of up to $20,000), and a certificate inscribed with the recipient’s name. This award is presented by the ASPRS Foundation, with funding provided by The DigitalGlobe Foundation. DigitalGlobe will consider additional recipients per year based on the selection committee’s recommendation of an additional candidate’s merit.
