Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agronomy, crop science, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, finance, sales, marketing, plant pathology/breeding/genetics, soil science or soil/water conservation. One scholarship will be awarded to resident of Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Two scholarships each will be awarded to residents of Iowa and Nebraska. Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 17 scholarships at $1,500 each, non-renewable

Foth Production Solutions, LLC Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural engineering, mechanization, power and equipment, biochemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, computer systems, environmental engineering and science, food packaging, food science and technology, pulp and paper technology, soil conservation or soil science. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must reside in Wisconsin, preferably in Brown, Calumet, Dane, Dodge, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Oconto or Outagamie counties. Preference given to applicants who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Engineering, Madison Area Technical College or Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Tyson Foods Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in general agriculture; animal nutrition or science; farm and ranch management; poultry science; agricultural communications, journalism or public relations; management and finance; marketing and sales; or select area science and engineering. Must be a resident of a community in which a Tyson Foods processing facility is located. Scholarship recipients will be provided information regarding possible internship/part-time employment opportunities at Tyson Foods Inc.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP)

Offered across the globe in Australia, China, Europe, India and South Africa, the ISLP programs provide delegates the opportunity to further career development, strengthen leadership skills and engage in a culturally enriching experience. In each ISLP delegation, scholars increase knowledge and preparation in a specific career field such as Anthropology & Archaeology, Communications & Journalism, Business, Diplomacy & International Relations, Engineering, Medicine and Nursing. Through a comparative curriculum, they gain a global understanding of how their career of interest is practiced in the host country and they are able to compare and contrast current methods and procedures in the United States.Golden Key and ISLP have partnered to offer four (4) $2,000(USD) scholarships exclusively for Golden Key members.

New Scientist Award for Creativity in Science Students

Description: $1000(AUD) awarded to one Golden Key Member of an Australia or New Zealand chapter currently studying a science-related degree.Eligibility: Undergraduate and postgraduate members who are enrolled in a degree-granting program or postgraduate qualification (Grad. Cert, Grad Dip. Masters) studying a science-related degree (life sciences, physical sciences, biotechnology and nanotechnology).Criteria: Academic achievement, application form, essay.Application requirements:1. Attach the following required documentation:An essay of no more than 1000 words analyzing and describing how your area of study might impact one of the following areas: water resources and usage; energy resources and consumption; genetics and gene therapy.A university document that confirms your enrollment in one of the disciplines outlined above as being eligible for this award.An academic transcript (copies accepted).

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship

The fellowship provides three years of financial support including a $30,000 annual stipend and $10,500 cost of education allowance. U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens at or near the beginning of research-based graduate studies in relevant science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines are eligible to apply. Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Association (ACWWA) Lloyd Douglas Scholarship

Number and Value: Up to Four awards with a value of $1,000each (one for each Atlantic Canadian province: NB, NL, NS, and PEI) Tenure: One year (non-renewable) Eligibility: An applicant shall • be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada; • be registered as a full-time student in a postsecondary institution in Atlantic Canada; • have successfully completed at least one year of postsecondary education; and • intend to pursue a career related to the water or wastewater industry. Fields of Study: University degree in engineering/science or college diploma in water/wastewater field. Assessment criteria: • Academic record after at least one year completion of postsecondary education (30%); • Statement/essay (60%); and • Work experience and extracurricular activities (10%). Preference will be given to a candidate with a demonstrated interest in working in the water or wastewater treatment sectors. Application: The application shall include • a short biography, a recent photo and contact information including name, phone number, mailing and email addresses; • a 500-word statement or essay of the applicant's interest, knowledge and future goals in the water/wastewater industry together with applicable work experience or extracurricular activities; • a description/list of planned future studies; and • supporting documents including i) an official transcript completed to date, and ii) a copy of passport (the page showing your name, nationality and place of birth), citizenship/PR certificate or birth certificate

Health Care Major Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the Health Care Majors Application

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Majors Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the STEM Majors Application

HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship

Program Description:The HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $10,000 per year. Selected students will receive $10,000 for one academic year, renewable the following year upon confirmation of continued eligibility. Although not a requirement, preference will be given to students who are participants of a College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American heritage * Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Be a Sophomore majoring in Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering), Biology (includes Molecular Biology), Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Chemistry, Zoology (includes Entomology), Engineering, Botany/Horticulture (includes Crop Science, Plant Science, Plant Pathology), Chemical Engineering (includes Process Engineering), Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (includes Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (IT/MIS) * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Arnold Schwartz Scholarship

Students pursuing a post-secondary education in math, science or engineering. For students who are Southridge High School graduates only. See website for deadline of application.

Wilbert W. 'Bill' Gasser Scholarship

Eligibility: * Preference will be given to students from Porter or Lake Counties, Indiana, who intend to major in business, chemistry, or music. * Academic achievement, leadership traits, and financial need are required. * The scholarship is renewable for undergraduate study.
