LedsMaster Scholarship

LedsMaster’s Essay scholarship provides opportunity for college students to think of the ways for saving energy. Apart from lighting, there are tons of innovative ways to relieve the burden of using fossil fuels.

South Dakota Association of Environmental Professionals Scholarship

The South Dakota Association of Environmental Professionals (SDAEP) Scholarship Program provides one  or more  scholarships annually to students with directed  studies relating  to the protection and enhancement of our natural resources, the environment, and other similar fields. Who is eligible for the SDAEP Scholarship? · Applicants should desire a career in a trade supportive to the protection and enhancement of our natural resources, environment, and/or related fields. · Students that are  intending  to  enroll  or are  already  enrolled  at  a  South Dakota  university, technical institution, or other post­secondary trade school. Applicants must intend to enroll for the fall semester. · High school seniors are eligible to apply. · Students that possess a Grade Point Average of 2.0 or greater · Part time studies will be considered if applicant can show good cause for other than full ­time studies and  that the  course  of study is directed  toward  a  degree,  certificate  or similar identification of graduation. · Students who have received an SDAEP scholarship in the past are eligible to apply each year. · Children and spouses of Scholarship Committee members are not eligible. What is considered a course of study that wil provide protection and enhancement of our natural resources and the environment? Related  fields include  but are  not limited  to  business administration, accounting, biology, chemistry, trucking, geology, hydrology, engineering, auto mechanics, computer  science, education, heating/ventilation/refrigeration, environmental sciences, engineering  technicians, government administration, agribusiness, energy technology, and more.

South Dakota Solid Waste Management Association Scholarship

Who is eligible for SDSWMA Scholarship? An applicant should desire a career in a trade supportive to the protection and enhancement of our natural resources and environment, the solid waste industry and/or related fields. Applicants must intend to enroll for the fall semester. Preference will be given to South Dakota residents intending to or enrolled at a South Dakota institution of higher learning, vocational school, or other post-secondary trade school. High school seniors are eligible to apply. Part-time studies will be considered if applicant can show good cause for other than full-time studies and that the course of study is directed toward a degree, certificate or similar identification of graduation. Students who have received an SDSWMA scholarship in the past are eligible to apply each year although preference will be given to new applicants. Children and spouses of Scholarship Committee members are not eligible. What is considered a course of study that will provide protection and enhancement of our natural resources and the environment or solid waste Industry? SDSWMA membership consists of a broad range of industries relating to and supporting the proper disposal, reuse, hauling, or recycling of solid waste. Related fields include but are not limited to business administration, accounting, biology, chemistry, trucking, geology, hydrology, engineering, auto mechanics, computer science, heating / ventilation / refrigeration, environmental sciences, engineering technicians, government administration, agribusiness, education, biohazard, energy technology, and more.

The AHIMA Foundation Board Chair’s Graduate Scholarship

For a graduate student who demonstrates leadership in HIM. Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6. Have not been awarded any AHIMA Foundation scholarship for the academic degree being sought through this application 7. Submit a completed online application and all of its components Additional requirements are listed on the online scholarship application

Assembly on Education Honorary Scholarship

Awarded to support HIM educators going back for further education Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6. Have not been awarded any AHIMA Foundation scholarship for the academic degree being sought through this application 7. The AHIMA Foundation Diversity Scholarships

Available to students who illustrate why their lives are in alignment with the AHIMA Foundation’s Guidelines on Diversity Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6. The CSA Leadership Scholarships

For applicants who exhibit a solid record of volunteerism Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. High Technology Scholar/Intern Tuition Waiver

The High Technology Scholar/Intern Tuition Waiver Program provides an incentive to business and industry to support the computer information technology/science and engineering students through scholarships and internships. Public higher education institutions are encouraged to seek funding from business and industry for computer and information science and technology and engineering scholarships that the Commonwealth will, in turn, match with a full waiver of the cost of a student's annual tuition charges. In addition to scholarships and tuition waivers, students participating in the program gain real life experience in their chosen paths through business and industry internships. This program provides added incentive for high-achieving high school students to attend public institutions of higher education in Massachusetts. Who Is Eligible? To be eligible for a High Technology Scholar/Intern Tuition Waiver, a student must: Enroll in an eligible program as determined by the Board of Higher Education. Be deemed eligible by the participating company or corporation. Be a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts. Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen. Not be in default of any Federal or state loan or owe a refund on any previously received financial aid. Not have received a prior bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Eligible Institutions Any institution within the system of public institutions of higher education Section 5 of Chapter 15A of the General Laws. Eligible Programs Computer Information Science/Technology and Engineering programs to be reviewed and determined annually by the Board of Higher Education. Award Amounts Individual student awards shall match industry scholarships up to the resident undergraduate tuition rate at the participating institution. How Do I Apply? AAF Orlando Education Scholarship

Scholarship Guidelines Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours in undergraduate studies leading to a career in advertising, marketing, graphic design or digital media; The student must display excellent oral and written communication skills; Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at a Florida institution; AAF-Orlando prefers that students have an overall 3.0 grade point average, but those students with financial need who fall below a 3.0 are encouraged to apply; The student must agree to assist AAF-Orlando and Ad 2 Orlando on projects; The student must write a letter detailing their career goals and outlining their planned involvement with the Advertising Community; The student must complete an application and submit it with a letter of recommendation from one of the student’s professors. A letter from an internship supervisor is recommended, but not required. AAF-Orlando encourages participation in Ad 2 Orlando but does not restrict scholarship applicants to members. The student may be asked to interview with the AAF-Orlando Scholarship Committee during the application process.

STEM Scholarships

The NSHSS Foundation provides STEM scholarships for underrepresented groups in order to help reduce financial barriers for those with academic and leadership potential and the desire to pursue STEM careers. We recognize that in order to increase diversity in the technology workforce, we must increase diversity in undergraduates. The Foundation awards scholarships to applicants who are pursuing a degree in, or closely related to, one of the following STEM disciplines: Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Biosciences/Pre-med/health-related fields Chemical Engineering Chemistry Civil Engineering Cognitive, Neural, and Behavioral Sciences Computer and Computational Sciences, including Statistics and Accounting Electrical Engineering Geosciences Information Sciences Materials Science and Engineering Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Nuclear Engineering Oceanography Operations Research Physics Teaching in STEM areas

NSHSS Foundation Scholarships

NSHSS Foundation scholarships have been created to help reduce financial barriers for high school students as they prepare for upcoming careers in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), business, economics, public policy, and environmental science and sustainability. The Foundation seeks to engage these future leaders in order to help fuel the global economy, stimulate innovation and creativity, and yield a strong ethical foundation for decision-making. We seek to support higher education to enable our future leaders to achieve their dreams.

AREMA Educational Foundation Scholarships

General criteria for all scholarship applicants include having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee. Enrolled student who has completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited* four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program.
