Rain Bird Intelligent Use of Water Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Rain Bird Corporation to recognize an outstanding landscape architecture, horticulture or irrigation science student. Eligible applicants include students in the final two years of undergraduate study (third-, fourth-, or fifth-year students) who have demonstrated commitment to these professions through participation in extracurricular activities and exemplary scholastic achievements.Rain Bird develops products and technologies that use water efficiently. Bill Martin Scholarship Fund

The Bill Martin Scholarship Fund was established in September 2002 to honor and memorialize Bill Martin, who passed away on August 7, 2002, after serving a distinguished career in the water environment profession. This scholarship was created to encourage students who wish to pursue higher education in the water environment field by providing a scholarship at his/her college or university.This scholarship is for high school students, enrolling in a 2- or 4-year college or university for study related to the water environment profession. Applicant must be a high school senior from Colorado, Wyoming or New Mexico in good standing, who has applied to a college or university with the interest of pursuing an environmental career. The student winner must show proof of enrollment in the environmental related program at the college or university for fall to receive a scholarship check. * Amount of and number of Martin awards to be determined by the RMWEA on a yearly basis

BREAKTHROUGH SCHOLARSHIP

Students are encouraged to submit an essay on why they believe biotechnology will change the future of therapeutics and scientific endeavors. Essays should be no more than 250 words and include a video of 3 minutes or less detailing accomplishments and interests.

Minority Academic Institutions Undergraduate Student Fellowships-Chemistry

Description:Established to provide financial assistance and summer internships to undergraduates at minority academic institutions (MAIs) who are interested in majoring in fields related to the environment. Eligibility:Applicants for this program must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled full time with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in an accredited 4-year institution that meets the definition of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an MAI: Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), and Tribal Colleges (TCs). Students must be majoring in environmental science, physical sciences, biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, environmental health, social sciences, mathematics, or engineering. They must be available to work as interns at an EPA facility during the summer between their junior and senior years.

Radiochemistry Society International Scholarships - Chemistry

Eligibility:Must be a member of the Radiochemistry Society. And must be a graduate student with a grade point average of 3.0 or an undergraduate student with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. And must be enrolled or accepted in an academic program of study in Chemistry, Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Radiochemistry, Health Physics, or any other related scientific field of study.

USGIF Scholarship Program

In an effort to help further the advancement of the geospatial tradecraft, USGIF is dedicated to assist promising students interested in the geospatial sciences with scholarship awards. Graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students can apply. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their academic and professional excellence in a field related to the geospatial intelligence tradecraft. Students interested in using capabilities of geospatial science, data and technologies to address human security challenges are encouraged to submit their applications. USGIF hopes to inspire students who are interested in all that GEOINT has to offer to invest their futures in this incredibly exciting and relevant field of study. The USGIF Scholarship Program has awarded $792,000 in scholarships since launching the program in 2004. The Scholarship Program is partially funded by the annual Allder Golf Classic. Named in honor of the late William R. Allder Jr., the Allder Golf Classic raises money for the USGIF Scholarship Program.

Henry Rodriguez Reclamation College Scholarship and Internship

Funded by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and provided to American Indian/Alaska Native candidates pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering or science, specifically related to water resources or an environmentally related discipline.

Ted Rollins Eco Scholarship 

Ted Rollins and Valeo Partners award a $1,000 scholarship twice each year to one talented student who is majoring in a field related to sustainability. This money may be used to pay for tuition, books or living expenses. Who Qualifies: * High school seniors and college undergraduate students. * Major (or plans to major) in a field related to sustainability. * Must plan to take at least 10 credit hours during the fall 2018 semester. Technology Scholar Program

Scholars will be selected on the basis of scholastic achievement and must meet the following guidelines: * Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident and a resident of the State of Connecticut * Be in the senior year at a Connecticut high school at the time of application * Attend an accredited college or university within the State of Connecticut on a full-time basis * Be enrolled in an eligible academic program * Maintain a B average or 3.0 GPA throughout high school and college * Be in the top 20% of his or her graduating class and have scored at least 1000 combined in the Scholastic Aptitude Tests * Must work within the State of Connecticut for two years following graduation Service Obligation Following Graduation: Scholars must begin employment in the State of Connecticut within 12 months after receiving their associate's or bachelor's degrees. Automatic extensions for commencement of the employment requirement of up to four years will be granted for those who choose to immediately pursue an advanced degree in the fields of science and technology on a full-time basis. The Connecticut work requirement will be met if the Scholar meets at least one of the following within five years of graduation: * Is continuously employed with no breaks in service for 24 months * Completes a total of 3,900 hours of work during a period of time not less than two years nor more than five years immediately following completion of post-secondary education

Oshkosh Garden Club Helen Spencer Scholarship
