Thaddeus Colson and Isabelle Saalwaechter Fitzpatrick Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by Isabelle F. Smith in 1999, in memory of her parents, to provide annual scholarships for female residents of Kentucky majoring in environmentally related programs at public universities in Kentucky. Scholarship is non-renewable. Alfred Chisholm/BASF Memorial Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Value: $5,000 Classifications: Open Minimum GPA: 2.7 Eligible Majors: Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Law, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Pulp and Paper Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Engineering Eligible Schools: HBCU Schools Eligible Locations: Open Scholarship Detail: This scholarship was created in 1997 in memory of Alfred Chisholm, a leader in his community. With the support of the BASF African-American Employees Group (AAEG), one deserving student will receive $5,000 toward college assistance. Candidates must also have a relative employed with BASF.

American Honda Foundation Scholarship

CDM Scholarship/Internship

Scholarship Value: $6,000 Classifications: Open Minimum GPA: 3.0 Eligible Majors: Engineering, Science Eligible Schools: UNCF Member Colleges and Universities (please check the website for the complete list) Eligible Locations: Open Scholarship Detail: CDM and its subsidiaries, CDM Federal Programs Corporation and CDM Constructors, Inc. in association with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) have established a scholarship/internship program for six students who have a 3.0 grade point average or above and who are majoring in a variety or engineering, science or construction disciplines, such as chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, geotechnical, geology/hydrogeology, geography, GIS, mechanical, mining and structural or will be pursuing a masters degree in one of the aforementioned disciplines. Mellon Ecology Program (S.E.E.D.S.)

Mellon Undergraduate Fellowship Program

Eligible Majors: Mathematics, Computer Science, Humanities, Sociology, Physics, Demography, Ecology, Anthropology Eligible Schools: UNCF Member Colleges and Universities, Hampton University (please check the website for the complete list) Eligible Locations: Open Scholarship Detail: This program provides a $750 stipend per academic semester and a $3,000 stipend/summer institute for selected students who are interested in enrolling in Ph.D. programs and pursuing college-teaching careers. Jake Czekaj Memorial Environmental Foundation

Scholarship awards to qualified graduating seniors for college or university, for residents of Pennsylvania. Application form not required. Initial approach: Letter Giving primarily to residents of Pennsylvania.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Majors Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the STEM Majors Application

Ford Motor Company Tribal College Scholarship

Requirements: * Have at least a 3.0 grade point average; * Tribal college students must be majoring in math; science; engineering; business; teacher training; or environmental science; * American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy; * Enroll full-time at an eligible tribal college; * Award based on exceptional academic achievement or financial need.

The Graduate Fellowship Award

Eligible applicants for Hertz Fellowships must be students of the applied physical, biological and engineering sciences who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States of America, and who are willing to morally commit to make their skills available to the United States in time of national emergency (see our Moral Commitment section).College seniors wishing to pursue the Ph.D. degree in any of the fields of particular interest to the Foundation, as well as graduate students already in the process of doing so, may apply.We screen Fellowship applicants for qualities the Foundation believes are essential ingredients of future professional accomplishment and/or reasonably reliable leading indicators of future professional success. These include:• Exceptional Intelligence and Creativitywith particular emphasis on those aspects pertinent to technical endeavors• Excellent Technical Educationevidenced not only by transcripts and reference reports from senior technical professionals, but also by the results of a personal, technical interview• Orientation and Commitment to the applications of the physical sciences as is typical of most applicants• Extraordinary Accomplishment in technical or related professional studies which may offset slightly lower academic records, or add luster to outstanding ones• Features of Temperament and Character conducive to high attainment as a technical professional the assessment of which is difficult, albeit important to the Foundation• Appropriate moral and ethical values of considerable interest to the Foundation in the furthering of our basic goals• Leverage what difference the award of the Hertz Fellowship is likely to make in the kind, quality, and/or personal creativity of the student's graduate researchWe do not support students pursuing advanced professional degrees other than the Ph.D., such as enrollees in M.D., LLD or MBA programs, although we will support the Ph.D. portion of a joint M.D./Ph.D. study program.

Tony Campman Scholarship Fund

The Tony Campman Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to honor and memorialize Tony Campman, after serving a distinguished career in the water environment profession. This scholarship was created to encourage students who wish to pursue higher education in the water environment field by providing a scholarship at his/her college or university. This scholarship is for an existing student of a 2 or 4 year Colorado, Wyoming or New Mexico university or college or a resident of the above mentioned states who is an existing student pursuing study at a 2 or 4-year college or university in the water environment profession (e.g., biology, environmental science, engineering with a strong emphasis in wastewater treatment, water pollution control, or environmental protection). The applicant must be officially enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college or university for fall. * Amount of and number of Campman awards to be determined by the RMWEA on a yearly basis.
