Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the STEM Majors Application

Program Description:Air Products is a leading worldwide company, serving customers in industrial, energy, technology and healthcare markets with a unique portfolio of atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials, and equipment and services.The HSF/Air Products Excellence in Engineering program will award two outstanding engineering majors with a $15,000 scholarship each. Eligible candidates should be majoring in mechanical or chemical engineering.Applicants may also be offered the opportunity to participate in a summer internship at various Air Products locations.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American heritage. * Be a current first year with plans to enroll as a FULL-TIME sophomore OR be a current sophomore with plans to enroll as a FULL-TIME junior. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Submit a current resume. * Must be majoring in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. * Must be planning to attend selected universities (see website) * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) * Submit an essay describing their interests in engineering, accomplishments, plans, goals, and what distinguishes them from other engineering students. * Be willing to be interviewed for a possible summer internship opportunity with Air Products.

Program Description:The HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation Scholarship Program is a scholarship of up to $15,000 per year. Selected students may receive up to $15,000 for two academic years for a possible total award of $30,000.In addition, scholars will be offered the opportunity to participate in a possible paid 8-10 week summer internship at various Marathon Oil Corporation locations. Scholars will also be paired with a Marathon Oil Corporation employee who will serve as a professional mentor.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. Program Description:The HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $10,000 per year. Selected students will receive $10,000 for one academic year, renewable the following year upon confirmation of continued eligibility. Carlson Caspers' Diversity Scholarship Program annually provides up to two $5,000 scholarships to prospective law students who are pursuing or who have obtained a degree in chemistry, physics, life sciences, pharmacy, engineering, or computer science and who are committed to practicing intellectual property law in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Scholarship recipients will be considered for a paid internship at Carlson Caspers during the summer prior to entering law school and will be considered for a paid clerkship during the summers after their first and second years of law school.

To be eligible for a scholarship from the Nancy Lorraine Jensen Memorial Scholarship Fund: a) The applicant must be an American citizen not younger than 17 and not older than 35 on the date that the scholarship application is submitted. b) The applicant must be a female member or the daughter or granddaughter of a member of Sons of Norway, provided that such membership shall have been of at least three years duration on the date the application is submitted. c) THE APPLICANT MUST BE A FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE WHO HAS COMPLETED AT LEAST ONE TERM (QUARTER, SEMESTER) OF HER STUDIES AFTER BEING ACCEPTED AS A MAJOR EITHER IN CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS OR IN CHEMICAL, ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. THE GRANT IS INTENDED TO BE USED FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDY. d) The applicant must have attained a SAT score of at least 1800, a math score of 600 or better, or an ACT score of at least 26. HOW ARE THE WINNERS SELECTED? Final selection of the scholarship winners will be made by the Sons of Norway Foundation Scholarship Committee. The criteria for selection are: a) long-term career goals and clarity of study plan b) academic potential and evidence of ability to succeed c) letters of recommendation giving specific evidence of good character, eagerness and earnestness and ambition in the field of science and engineering. The AFCEA Scholarship for Working Professionals will provide $1,500 to those students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree while employed in the science or technology disciplines directly related to the mission of AFCEA. Undergraduate candidates must be at least second-year students attending an accredited college or university in the United States. Graduate students must have completed at least two postgraduate-level classes prior to the deadline date. The scholarship is intended for students attending school on a part-time basis, whether at a two-year community college or accredited university institution. Part-time status will be defined as enrollment in at least two classes per semester with a declared major in a science or technology degree program. Students enrolled in online or distance-learning programs will be eligible, as long as all other criteria are met. Eligible students must also be currently employed (see above). Eligibility: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, attending an accredited college or university in the United States as either a traditional or distance-learning student, and majoring in electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; mathematics; physics; technical management; computer information systems; computer science or related fields. Undergraduate applications will be accepted from sophomore, junior and senior students - minimum second-year students please. An overall GPA of 3.4 is required. Fellowships of $15,000 will be awarded to full-time postgraduate students who have earned Master's degrees or the equivalent and who are currently enrolled in a doctoral degree program in the following or related fields of electrical, electronics, chemical, systems or communications engineering; physics; mathematics; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence enterprises with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. The dissertation title or abstract of the specific area of research is required. Important: Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees (or their equivalents) and be currently enrolled in a doctoral program at any accredited university in the United States. A thesis statement or abstract of the intended area and nature of research is required. Primary consideration will be given for demonstrated excellence of the research topic. Please note: Endorsement by the Dean of the College of Engineering is required, regardless of major. The AFCEA Ph.D. Fellowship seeks to reward excellence for demonstrated effort at the doctoral level of study, rather than the potential for such excellence. Scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded to ROTC students majoring in the following or C4I-related fields of electrical, computer, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; computer science; physics; mathematics; science or mathematics education; technology management; or other technical fields at accredited degree-granting four-year colleges or universities in the United States. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence or national security enterprises with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Candidates must be at least second-year college students, enrolled full time as sophomores or juniors at the time of application. Eligibility: Candidates must be nominated by the Professor of Military Science, Naval Science, Aerospace Studies or designated Commanding Officer as appropriate. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen enrolled in ROTC, have good moral character, demonstrate academic excellence, exhibit the potential to serve as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, and have a financial need. In addition, applicants must provide two Letters of Recommendation from faculty in their field of study. An official transcript including all college-level study as well as courses in progress is also required. You must be planning to study an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology, or computing in the upcoming academic year. You must be planning to attend full time (exceptions are made for reentry and non-traditional applicants). You must not be fully funded for tuition, fees, and books and equivalent.

Members of one of the following groups: African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, or American Indians, and are U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents. Candidates must have completed all course work leading to the doctorate and must be considering a career in college teaching in one of the following fields: Business (Family Business, Sustainable Organizations); Education (Educational Philosophy and Foundations, Research Methods, Higher Education and Student Affairs); English; Chemistry; History (African American, California, Islamic World, 18th-19th Century Europe); Information Systems; Mathematics; Nursing (Adult Surgical Nursing); Organizational Development/Behavior; Philosophy; Public Administration; or Theology and Religious Studies. Pending funding, the Program provides a stipend of $32,000 and limited support for relocation and research-related expenses. The University of San Francisco invites applications from underrepresented scholars for the USF Dissertation Fellowship Program. Program: Scholars complete the dissertation and initiate an ongoing program of scholarly or creative work, and become familiar with the usual service responsibilities of a university faculty member. Scholars teach one course in the discipline each semester and serve the University in various capacities. Additional support includes office space, computer and library privileges.
