National Debt Relief Scholarship

National Debt Relief will award 5 scholarships of $1,000 each to outstanding college students pursuing studies in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields.

Orangesoft Women in Technology Scholarship Program

Orangesoft offers a scholarship dedicated to female college or university students pursuing STEM, or other technology-related studies and careers. Write an essay on one of the following topics: 01 What challenges do women in tech face? What solutions to these challenges can you propose and why? 02 Why does the IT-sphere need women, and what impact do you believe you could make in the industry? 03 How to inspire other women to choose a tech specialty?

Cisco Scholarship

Amount: $1,200 per semester - Valued at up to $7,200. Audience: community college graduates. Eligibility: Successfully Completed prior to entering DeVry: IT Essentials I or II, or CCNA Semester I. Community college graduates must be accepted into and begin studies in one of the following technology degree programs+: Biomedical Engineering Technology (Biomedical Technology in NY) Biomedical Informatics Computer Engineering Technology Computer Information Systems Electronics Engineering Technology Game and Simulation Programming Network and Communications Management Technical Management Deadline: One year from community college graduation to apply and start at DeVry. Proton OnSite Scholarship

The Proton OnSite scholarship program has been successful in supporting future leaders in science and technology, through college scholarships. A restructuring of the program, and one that focuses on a contest aspect, builds on that history while broadening the potential number of entries. Therefore, we are seeking participants who demonstrate passion, drive, curiosity and DIY initiative in applying science and technology to solve real world situations with a broad-reaching program. The Proton OnSite Scholarship Program is fueling the next generation of scientific innovation by recognizing and awarding high school seniors who can find new and creative ways for generating and/or using hydrogen powered by renewable and sustainable energy sources such as sun or wind. Proton OnSite seeks to fuel the next generation of scientific innovation by recognizing and rewarding high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement, excellence and community service. Name: Proton OnSite Scholarship Deadline: February 13, 2015 Value: $100,000/ $25,000 per year Number of Scholarships offered: We intend to award one 4-year scholarship (worth up to $100,000 for 4 years). It is possible that more awards may be made based on the quality of the applicants. Applicants are evaluated on: Strength of Application Demonstrated leadership, work ethic and community involvement Ability and promise of the idea Thoroughness and presentation of the idea To apply for a scholarship, applicants must be a high school senior currently enrolled in a U.S. high school and a U.S. citizen. Each scholarship is one to four years in length, and to be eligible for renewal, students must remain enrolled full-time and meet all criteria of standard academic progress as established by their university. FEA Minnesota Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located Minnesota. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Minnesota. FEA Texas Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located Texas. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Texas. BASAA Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located in the BASAA area (Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Connecticut). Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. Hiliary Echo Douglas Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates Hiliary’s love for Vietnam and other cultures, her desire to give back to the world community, and her contagious love of life. Fund for Education Abroad General Scholarships

The application cycle (summer, fall spring) will open mid-November Funding Amount: up to $10,000 Number of General and Dedicated Scholarships Awarded: TBD Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents currently enrolled as undergraduates in US universities/colleges who plan to study abroad for at least four weeks. $500 Veterinary Technology - Exotic Animal Interest Scholarship

Veterinary technicians are essential team members in every veterinary practice. Oxbow understands the need for highly-trained and qualified veterinary technicians, especially in exotic animal medicine. Oxbow Animal Health will award two Veterinary Technology students who show a strong interest in pursuing a career in small and exotic animal medicine two $500 scholarships to pursue their dreams. Scholarships are paid directly to the school in September. Oxbow’s Veterinary Technology Scholarship is intended for students who show a strong interest in pursuing a career in small and exotic animal medicine. To Qualify: • Complete the application available online at www.oxbowanimalhealth.com • Submit a resume describing activities and job history • Provide one letter of reference • Provide proof of enrollment in an accredited veterinary technology program • Provide a transcript copy and current GPA • Submit a 300-500 word essay explaining why you want to work in the exotic animal field

The DigitalGlobe Foundation Award for the Application of High-Resolution Digital Satellite Imagery

Purpose: To support remote sensing education and stimulate the development of applications of high-resolution digital satellite imagery for applied research by undergraduate or graduate students. Eligibility: Full time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited college or university in the USA or Canada with image processing facilities appropriate for conducting the proposed work. Student member of ASPRS Award: A grant of satellite imagery data up to 500 square kilometers (potential value of up to $20,000), and a certificate inscribed with the recipient’s name. This award is presented by the ASPRS Foundation, with funding provided by The DigitalGlobe Foundation. DigitalGlobe will consider additional recipients per year based on the selection committee’s recommendation of an additional candidate’s merit. Award Parameters: Level of Imagery The 500 square kilometers will be limited IKONOS and GeoEye-1 imagery from the DigitalGlobe archive and can be the following product types: IKONOS (1M Panchromatic, 4M Multispectral, or 1M Pansharpenend Multispectral) Geo Geo Stereo (US only) GeoProfessional (Ortho, US only) GeoEye-1 (0.50-meter Panchromatic, 2-meter Multispectral, or 0.50-meter Pansharpenend Multispectral) Geo Geo Stereo (US only) GeoProfessional (Ortho, US only)

Z/I Imaging Scholarship

Purpose: The purpose of the award is to facilitate graduate-level studies and career goals adjudged to address new and innovative uses of signal processing, image processing techniques, and the application of photogrammetry to real-world techniques within the earth imaging industry. This award is presented by a grant from the ASPRS Foundation on behalf of corporate contributions to the Foundation by Z/I Imaging, a technology company that provides innovative solutions to the earth imaging industry. Eligibility: The award is restricted to members of ASPRS. It is intended for a student who is currently pursuing graduate-level studies or who plans to enroll for graduate studies in a recognized college or university in the United States or elsewhere. Award: The award consists of a one-year Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 and a certificate. Application: In addition to the application form and official transcripts, applicants must submit the following items: A 2-page statement detailing applicant’s educational and career plans for continuing studies in photogrammetric applications. Two completed letters of reference from faculty members who have knowledge of the applicant’s capabilities. Technical papers, research reports, or other pertinent items produced by the applicant and indicating capabilities in this field may be submitted with the application, but are not required. Award Selection: The Z/I Imaging Scholarship selection committee will evaluate each application and apply equal weight to each of the items listed above. The applicant who, in the opinion of the majority of the committee, has the highest overall ranking will be designated as the recipient.
