Here are some of the Pharmacy scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Letourneau Award

The American College of Legal Medicine has an annual Student Writing Competition in which $1,000 cash awards are made for the outstanding original paper on Legal Medicine. All papers submitted will receive consideration for publication in the Journal of Legal Medicine or other medical legal publications. Applicant Criteria 1. Authors must be currently enrolled in an accredited law, medical, podiatry, nursing, dental school, or program of health science or health care administration school in the United States or Canada. 2. No paper which has been previously published in any form will be considered. What is Legal Medicine Legal medicine is the professional and academic discipline which concerns itself with legal aspects of medical science, medical practice and other health care delivery problems. Practitioners of the specialty have training, knowledge and expertise sufficient to address the scope of the specialty from a scholarly, scientific (research) and practical perspective.

Hirsh Award

Howard Hughes Medical Inst. Predoctoral Fellowship

Open to citizens or nationals of the United States or foreign nationals. Awards will be made for study toward a PhD or ScD degree in the following biological sciences: biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, biostatistics, cell biology, developmental biology, epidemiology, genetics, immunology, mathematical and computational biology, microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, physiology, structural biology, and virology. At the time of application, applicants must not have completed one academic year or more of post-baccalaureate study in biological sciences. The following will not preclude eligibility: 1) graduate study that took place more than 10 years prior to application; 2) graduate study toward an MPH degree; 3) study in biological sciences that was toward a medical or dental degree (MD, DO, DDS, or DVM); and 4) graduate study prior to entry into medical or dental school.

Edward O. Nesheim Memorial Scholarship

The Scholarship may be used at any post secondary institution of higher education in North Dakota granting Associate or higher degrees. Application deadline is April 1 of the year the scholarship is to be awarded. Recipients of the Nesheim Scholarship may apply for renewal upon satisfactory completion of the previous academic year with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Eligibility requirements: 1. Must be a legal resident of North Dakota and a direct descendant (child, grandchild or great-grandchild) of a U.S. veteran who served honorably. Proof of service and lineage are required. 2. Must have maintained a secondary school GPA of 2.75 or higher. 3. Must be pursuing a degree in some phase of Agriculture, Human Nutrition, or Medicine (Medical Dr, PA, Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, Pharmacy or Chiropractic. 4. Must be a High School senior or a previous Nesheim Scholarship recipient now attending an institution of higher education.

Scholarships for Emigres in the Health Professions

This program will provide scholarships to emigres from the former Soviet Union to train in medicine, dentistry, dental hygiene, nursing, pharmacy, occupational and physical therapy, and physician assistant programs. Applicants must be female and live within a 50-mile radius of New York City. Grants are awarded based on financial need and academic merit.

Chemistry - Academic Opportunity Award

Scholarships are awarded in the following areas of study: Chemistry, Pre-Dental, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Osteopathy, Pre-Pharmacy, and Pre-Optometry. Applicants may submit a supporting letter from a science teacher (preferably the chemistry teacher). This letter is to be submitted to the Chemistry department. Also, the applicants may submit a short statement outlining their academic plans and career goals. These awards are for incoming freshmen only.

Nicholas & Mary Trivillian Scholarship

Health Care Major Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the Health Care Majors Application

Regeneron Science Talent Search

Regeneron STS is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students. Started in 1942 as the Westinghouse Science Talent Search, Regeneron STS recognizes and empowers our nation’s most promising young scientists who are developing ideas that could solve society’s most urgent challenges. Each year, nearly 2,000 students enter the Regeneron STS, submitting original research in critically important scientific fields of study. HSF/Pfizer Fellowship Program

Program Description: The HSF/Pfizer Fellowship Program is available on a competitive basis to Hispanic graduate students at selected universities and in selected majors. The fellowship includes a $10,000 award for the academic year, and a paid Summer internship in New York. A renewal award of $10,000 for a second year is contingent upon participation in internship and continued academic success. Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program

The purpose of the Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program is to increase the number of appropriately trained allied healthcare professionals, and to encourage their practice in direct patient care in medically underserved areas of California. Priority is given to students enrolled in the fields of medical imaging, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory care, social work, pharmacy, pharmacy technician, medical laboratory technologist, surgical technician, ultrasound technician, and diagnostic medical sonography. Eligible applicants may receive up to $2,500 per year, and would have a service obligation of 1 year or 100-150 hours volunteer service. This program is funded by a contribution from Kaiser Permanente.
