Delta Air Lines will award a $5,000 scholarship to a student currently enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program in aerospace/aeronautical, electrical, or mechanical engineering. In addition to the scholarship, the recipient will receive a trip to the Annual International Women in Aviation Conference, including round trip airfare, hotel accommodations, and conference registration. Applicants must be full-time students at the junior or senior level with a minimum of two semesters with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better. The Boeing Company will award a scholarship to a woman who wishes to advance her career in the aerospace industry in the fields of engineering, technology development, or management. The award is to be used for educational purposes only and may not be applied toward flight hours. Also eligible are students pursuing aviation- and aerospace-related degrees that are at the sophomore level with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
