Management Scholarships

Here are some of the Management scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Marsha Marie Trent Award

Available to business related majors in the Business Department To reward those students who have demonstrated consistent and outstanding academic achievement in high school and college and tend to be a worthy student of good character. For students with proven academic records, financial need or demonstrated leadership potential in any area. Instructions for Application: 1. All applicants must attach academic official transcripts to their applications.

Bill Taylor Scholarship Endowment

Enrolled members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians or their spouses, children, or other immediate family members pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a business related curriculum.

Benassurance Group Women in Business Scholarship

The Benassurance Group Women In Business Scholarship was formed to empower our newest generation of female students who are about to enter into the business community. The Benassurance Group will recognize an exceptional female student for her interest and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:  Insurance  Entrepreneurship  Finance  Sales  Marketing  Management Eligibility To be considered for the Women In Business Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following requirements:  Reside in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area  Current enrollment as a full time, undergraduate student  Provide current resume  Optional: Students may include a statement of 250 words or less to provide the selection committee with additional information. This is not required. Award 3 Female Finalists will be selected. The overall winner will receive a $750 award and each of the remaining finalists will receive a $125 award. Finalists will attend a 30-minute interview at the Benassurance Group office in Alexandria, VA.

Rover Scholarship

Rover Scholarship Higher education: that magical time when deadlines are tight and budgets are tighter. We'd like to help fund this education. Just write a 400-500 word essay for your chance to win $2500!

Francis X. Crowley Scholarship

In memory of Francix X. Crowley, who made a large contribution to NEWWA. Awards $3,000 to a civil or environmental engineering, or business management student.

AWS - Past Presidents Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to those individuals interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in welding engineering, welding engineering technology, or an engineering program with an emphasis on welding (bonding and joining included), or be a graduate student pursuing a Masters or Doctorate in engineering and/or management. Eligibility The Past Presidents Scholarship will be awarded to a college junior or senior pursuing a bachelors degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or an engineering program with an emphasis on welding (bonding and joining included), or be a graduate student pursuing a Masters or Doctorate in engineering and/or management. All applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements. A college student must be a junior, senior, or Graduate level (Masters or Ph.D). An undergraduate student must be pursuing a bachelors degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or an engineering program with emphasis on welding (includes bonding and joining). A graduate student, with a bachelors degree in Welding Engineering or Welding Engineering Technology, must be pursuing a Masters or Doctorate in engineering and/or management. Applicant must have demonstrated leadership qualities, i.e., community involvement, AWS Section or other professional society participation, industry leadership, and be an AWS Member. One or more recommendation letters must come from community members, local AWS Section Officers, and/or AWS District Directors, attesting to leadership capability. One or more recommendation letters must come from Faculty (if a student), or from Employer (if employed). Applicant must submit a 300-500 word essay on his/her objectives/aspirations in the field of welding. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. The award will be presented to individuals nationwide. Selection The recipient will be chosen by a sub-committee of the Education Scholarship Committee. Awards One award of $2,500 paid to the recipient’s college or university. Awards are for tuition and books only.

James A. Turner, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The purpose for this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to those individuals interested in pursuing a management career in welding store operations or a welding distributorship. Eligibility The James A. Turner, Jr. Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time student pursuing a minimum four-year Bachelors of Business Degree that will lead to a management career in welding store operations or a welding distributorship. All applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements. Applicant must be a minimum of eighteen years of age. Applicant must have a minimum high school diploma. Applicant must be employed (at least 10 hours a week) at a welding distributorship at the time this application is submitted. Applicant must submit all required application information. Applicants may reapply; however, persons who have received this award may reapply and may be granted the award for a maximum of four years. The award will be presented to individuals nationwide. Applicant does not have to be a member of the American Welding Society. The AWS Foundation does not discriminate by age, race, color, national origin, disability, creed, or gender. Selection Applicant will be chosen by the Named Scholarship Selection Committee comprised of five (5) members, which have been selected by the National Educational Scholarship Committee. Selection committee will determine award recipient in February of each year. Recipient will be announced at the National Awards Luncheon. Awards One $3,500 award will be given annually. No awards will be paid to the recipient. All awards are for tuition and books only, and will be paid directly to the academic institution by the AWS Foundation.

Technical Division Scholarships

ACS Technical Divisions sponsor scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology and teaching. The following students are eligible to apply: high school seniors entering college and planning to pursue full-time study in a chemically-related field college freshmen, sophomores or juniors currently pursuing or planning to pursue full-time study in a chemically related field community college students majoring in a two-year chemical technology program or planning to transfer to a four-year school

HSF/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or 5th Year Senior in the next academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree Must major in one of the following: Accounting, Aeronautics/Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Biology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics/Robotics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Information Technology (IT/MIS), International Business, Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Materials Science/Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Science, Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the geographic locations listed above. Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). DACA applicants must submit household income information. Will be invited to be mentored by a GE Hispanic Forum member and enrolled into a career readiness program Please check website for deadline of application.

ISF-Dollar-a-Day Scholarship

ISF offers many joint scholarship programs with partner organization that share its common mission and vision. ISF is honored to host a joint scholarship with Dollar-A-Day Scholarship Fund. The ISF National Scholarships are open to all ISF supported majors. Description and Eligibility: ISF accepts online applications once a year starting in December for a period of three months. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.

ISF-ICCNC Scholarship

ISF supports Islamic organizations and mosques by planning and managing scholarship programs to students of their community. ISF is honored to host the scholarship program of the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California, ICCNC. The ISF-ICCNC Scholarship program is only open to members and individuals affiliated with ICCNC. Description and Eligibility: ISF accepts online applications once a year starting in December for a period of three months. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.

ISF-MCA Scholarship

ISF supports Islamic organizations and mosques by planning and managing joint scholarships. ISF is honored to host the ISF-MCA Scholarship of the Muslim Community Association of the Bay Area, MCA. The ISF-MCA Scholarship program is only open to members and individuals affiliated with the MCA. Description and Eligibility: ISF accepts online applications once a year starting in December for a period of three months. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.
