School of Law - First-Year Scholarships
Awarded annually to entering law students, these scholarships cover partial to complete tuition costs. Awards are based on merit, past academic performance, and LSAT scores.
School of Law - Second-Year Scholarships
These awards cover full tuition for top performing first year law students.
Maryam Torben, Esq. Alumni Scholarship
Eligibility: • For the stated purpose of planning to become an attorney• Financial need required • Can be used by seniors retroactively to repay educational loans) at CSU Stanislaus• Preference will be given to students who have studied under Dr. Anna L. Bolling, professor of English at CSU Stanislaus GPA: 3.00
John Grisez Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: • For graduating senior who has been accepted to medical or law school following graduation (must submit proof of acceptance from medical/law school or application will not be considered)• Preference will be given to applicants showing financial need GPA: 3.00
Dairy Farmers of America Scholarships
At Dairy Farmers of America, we believe it is important to invest in the next generation of leaders to ensure a bright future for the dairy industry. That is why we established the DFA Cares Foundation Scholarship Program.
The Foundation awards scholarships to three categories of students:
Incoming freshmen: High school seniors or recent graduates who have been accepted to college, but have not yet started classes
Undergraduate students: Students who are currently participating in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program, but have not yet graduated
Graduate/professional students: Students enrolled in a graduate or professional degree program
Scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the dairy industry or a related field:

Ames Foundation - Grants and Scholarships
Grants and scholarships for Harvard Law School and students. Limited to residents of Massachusetts.
Alia Herrera Memorial ATLA Auxiliary Scholarship
This $3,000 scholarship is available to students entering their second or third year of law school and to law students who have the equivalent of one year to complete their studies. Only law students who are student members of the law school student section of ATLA, law students attending law schools in the San Francisco area and law students who are children of ATLA members may apply. Recipients are selected based on a 500-word essay.
ATLA Trial Advocacy Scholarship
This $2,500 scholarship is available to second- and third-year ATLA law student members. Recipients are selected on the basis of a short essay on how the applicant meets eligibility criteria and a recommendation letter from a faculty advisor, trial advocacy professor, or dean.
Leesfield/ATLA Law Student Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is granted to a law student with financial need to allow him/her to attend the ATLAs annual convention. Applicants must be first- or second-year ATLA law student members.
Richard D. Hailey ATLA Law Student Scholarships
Up to six $1,000 tuition assistance scholarships are given to first- and second-year African American, Hispanic, Asian American, and Native American and Bi-Racial ATLA law student members based on financial need, a 500-word essay, recommendations, demonstrated commitment to ATLA and its mission, expressed desire to represent victims, and interest and skills in trial advocacy.
Florence H. Brown Trust
Scholarship awards to current Delaware residents, who were born in the state, and who are studying chemistry, engineering, law, medicine, or dentistry and demonstrate financial need. Application form required. Initial approach: Letter
The Sono Osato Scholarship Fund for Graduate Studies
We will be offering a limited number of competitive scholarships based on academic merit and financial need for current and former dancers who have received the maximum amount from the Caroline H. Newhouse Scholarship Fund and are pursuing graduate degrees in fields other than performance dance. The Osato Scholarship will be limited to a one-time grant of up to $5,000 to any one individual, paying for tuition and fees only. It is anticipated that the endowment will generate funds sufficient to award a grant to a minimum of two applicants annually. Award checks will be made out to the institution. Awards will not be granted retroactively (e.g. not be used to reimburse dancers for tuition already paid, for loans or other credit debt.) To be eligible to apply for a Sono Osato Scholarship applicants must: Have received the maximum allowed amount from the Newhouse Scholarship Fund. Have achieved a minimum 3.5 GPA for an undergraduate or graduate degree, or recent pre-requisite coursework. Be studying or planning to study at the graduate level for a degree in one of the approved areas, such as professional degrees (law and medicine), the medical arts (nursing, physicians assistant, physical therapy, etc.), the helping professions (social work, counseling, psychology, creative arts therapies, etc.), physical and social sciences, education, business and the humanities. Previous recipients of a Gasparinetti Scholarship award are not eligible to apply for an Osato Scholarship.
