Kansas Professional Communications Scholarship

Available to a junior or senior woman or man majoring in Information Networking and Telecommunications or Print Journalism. It is based on need and ability.

KOCH Industries, Inc., College of Business and Leadership Scholarship

Eligibility: 1. Declared major in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Management Information Systems or Finance. 2. 3.0 or better GPA. 3. Actively involved in business organization(s), e.g. Alpha Kappa Psi, Accounting Club, DISC, etc.

Matthew Schamberger Memorial Scholarship

Preference to Information Networking and Telecommunications majors with a minimum 3.0 GPA who have exhibited leadership in student organizations and activities.

Nex-Tech/Rural Telephone Information Networking and Telecommunication Scholarship

Preference to freshman students majoring in Information Networking and Telecommunications, with a concentration in Computer Networking and Telecommunications, and who have demonstrated academic and leadership potential.

Ralph 'Red' Huffman Family Memorial Scholarship

Preference to students majoring in Elementary Education, Music and Technology Studies. Must be a sophomore, junior or senior.

Kawasaki-McGaha Scholarship Fund

Requirements: Attend Hawai‘i Pacific University pursuing an undergraduate degree. Major in Computer Studies or International Studies.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Majors Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the STEM Majors Application

HSF/Hormel Scholarship

Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a permanent address in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Be a Junior with an intended graduation date between December and August * Be majoring in Accounting, Mechanical Engineering (includes Mechanical Technology), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology (includes Industrial Management) Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration (includes Operations), Management, Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Food Service), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT/MIS) (includes Computer Information Systems), Zoology (includes Animal Science), Marketing (includes Professional Selling), Hospitality Administration (includes Hotel/Restaurant Management) or related majors * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

HSF/HSBC-North America Scholarship

Program Description:The HSBC-North America Scholarship Program is available on a competitive basis to outstanding Latino undergraduate students. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a two or four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) * Be pursuing first undergraduate or graduate degree * Must reside in one of the following Counties: Los Angeles, CA (LA, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura); Monterey/Salinas, CA (Salinas); Chicago, IL (Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, LaSalle, Will, McHenry); New York, NY (Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond); Las Vegas, NV (Clark) * Be a current undergraduate sophomore OR a student currently attending community college and planning on transferring to a four-year college or university where you will be a Junior. * Be majoring in one of the following majors: Accounting, Advertising, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Information Technology (IT/MIS), Management, Marketing, Public Relations

HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation College Scholarship Program

Program Description:The HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation Scholarship Program is a scholarship of up to $15,000 per year. Selected students may receive up to $15,000 for two academic years for a possible total award of $30,000.In addition, scholars will be offered the opportunity to participate in a possible paid 8-10 week summer internship at various Marathon Oil Corporation locations. Scholars will also be paired with a Marathon Oil Corporation employee who will serve as a professional mentor.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Be a current Sophomore majoring in Accounting, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management or Petroleum Land Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnical Engineering, Global Procurement or Supply Chain Management, Information Technology (IT/MIS), Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Transportation & Logistics. * Or be a current Senior planning to enroll in a Master's degree program in Geology or Geophysics. * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship

Program Description:The HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $10,000 per year. Selected students will receive $10,000 for one academic year, renewable the following year upon confirmation of continued eligibility. Although not a requirement, preference will be given to students who are participants of a College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American heritage * Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Be a Sophomore majoring in Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering), Biology (includes Molecular Biology), Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Chemistry, Zoology (includes Entomology), Engineering, Botany/Horticulture (includes Crop Science, Plant Science, Plant Pathology), Chemical Engineering (includes Process Engineering), Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (includes Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (IT/MIS) * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Rochester Telecommunications Scholarship

Purpose of Scholarship To support local college students interested in the fields of telecommunications and technology who have a strong desire to attain an education and need financial assistance. Number and Size of Awards Two awards, up to $5,000.00 each Allowed Use of Award Tuition, books, and course-required expenses only. Room and/or board and personal expenses will not be covered. The award may not exceed the actual cost of expenses. Eligibility Criteria For graduating seniors of public, private, or parochial schools in the 8-county area (Monroe, Wayne, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Yates, and Genesee) who Will be attending a college in the 8-county area Are pursuing an undergraduate degree in telecommunications, technology, information or data technology, or a related program Have financial need Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 Are active in community service activities
