ISF supports Islamic organizations and mosques by planning and managing joint scholarships. ISF is honored to host the ISF-Ehsan Center scholarship of the Ehsan Center. The ISF-Ehsan Scholarship is only open to members and individuals affiliated with this center. Description and Eligibility: ISF accepts online applications once a year starting in December for a period of three months. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.

The ISF-SoCal Shura Council Scholarship is only open to members and individuals affiliated with this organization. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Southern California Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.

The ISF-IIOC Scholarship program is only open to members and individuals affiliated with this center. Description and Eligibility: ISF accepts online applications once a year starting in December for a period of three months. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.

ISF is pleased to expand its activities to the Greater Boston Region through the ISF-Syed Ibrahim Memorial Scholarship initiated by the Syed family in memory of Syed Ibrahim. This scholarship is open to local residents of the Greater Boston region who upon graduation will remain or return to the region to play a prominent role in their local community through their activism and leadership, developing visionary ideas for the future of their community. In addition, ISF encourages its scholarship recipients to fulfill a volunteer service obligation through relevant internship programs within one year of receiving a scholarship under the direct supervision of ISF and its regional Strategic Partner the Islamic Society Boston Cultural Center, ISBCC. Amount: $ 1,000 Criteria Must be enrolled at a accredited university or public / private college in the State of Texas Completed 90 credit hours before the fall semester All majors are eligible but students must be pursing a pre-law program and / or planning to attend law school Have and maintain a 2.75 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Provide one letter of recommendation from an educator familiar with your academic career Provide a resume of your community service activities Must maintain full-time enrollment status (12 hours if applicable) for the duration of the scholarship Preference will be given to female students of Hispanic descent

The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), has joined with Harvard University and UNCF to let those of you who qualify experience what it is like to be part of the labor movement. You can work on the front lines of a real union organizing campaign, where you will talk to workers about gaining a voice on the job, fair wages and benefits for themselves and their families ...by joining a union. You will get an opportunity to do the day-to-day work of outreach to workers by phone and on home visits, campaign research and material development. But the best part is that you will have a chance to make a difference in the lives of people. Catherine W. Pierce scholarship was established to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. Mrs. Pierce had a great interest in helping deserving students pursue the fields of Art or History. The award amount is up to $5,000. The Dirksen Center sponsors the LaHood Scholarships to promote the study of politics and governance as practiced by the distinguished public servants who have represented Illinois's 18th district in Congress, a list which includes Abraham Lincoln, Everett Dirksen, Robert H. Michel, Ray LaHood and, currently, Congressman Aaron Schock. The purpose of the LaHood Scholarships is to provide financial support for tuition, fees, and books to Bradley University juniors who are majoring in a discipline related to The Dirksen Center's purpose and interest or in a subject related to the study of the federal government. The program is managed by The Institute for Principled Leadership. The LaHoods endowed the program with a series of donations to The Dirksen Congressional Center beginning in 2005. Who is Qualified to Apply? In order to be considered for a LaHood Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements: They are a junior in good standing who will enter their senior year of study in a field related to the study of the U.S. government (e.g., political science, public administration, American studies, U.S. history). They attend Bradley University. They have a Grade Point Average (on a four-point scale) of at least 3.5 overall and 3.5 in their major. They agree to write a 250-word evaluation of the impact of their scholarship before the end of their senior year. The DAR Centennial Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students pursuing a course of graduate study in the field of historic preservation at a college or university in the United States. This scholarship was established from a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Centennial Pin. This is a one-time award in the amount of $2,000.
