Agriculture Production Scholarships

Here are some of the Agriculture Production scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Kansas Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers Scholarship

Awarded to a junior or senior (with at least 22 hours of course work remaining) majoring in Agriculture or related fields.

Kerry McQueen Scholarship

Preference to freshmen students majoring in Teacher Education, Economics or Agriculture.

Midland Marketing Scholarship

Awarded to a sophomore, junior or senior (with at least 22 hours remaining) enrolled in Agribusiness or related field. Must be a resident of Kansas and parents must be members of Midland Marketing from Ellis, Graham, Rooks, Rush, Russell or Trego counties.

R. Guy Bemis Memorial Scholarship

Available to junior or senior Agriculture majors.

James M. Norman Scholarship Fund

Education has been a fundamental goal of The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate since its inception. It has provided over $26.5 Million in funds to Texas youth by purchasing their projects at the Fort Worth Stock Show Junior Livestock Auction. In most cases, these funds are a critical element in their plans to pursue a college education. In addition, the Syndicate has an endowed scholarship fund. The James M. "Jim Bob" Norman Scholarship Fund was established in 1984 as a permanent endowment in memory of Jim Bob Norman who was chairman of the Syndicate at the time of his death. Jim Bob was active in many youth organizations and it was his dream to start a college scholarship endowment to help young Texas men and women pursue agricultural careers.

Tractor Supply Company Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Applicant must complete financial analysis section of application and exhibit financial need. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin required. Recipients shall allow Tractor Supply Company to use photographs of themselves and their families in company advertising.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $3,000. Not guaranteed.

Johnson & Wales University Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree at Johnson & Wales University majoring in equine science, agricultural business management, agricultural economics, international agriculture, agricultural finance, dietetics, hospitality, food service management or other non-agricultural related areas. Minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale required. Renewable for a full-time, day school student maintaining a minimum 3.25 GPA. Must be active and support the JWU FFA chapter as a member while enrolled at JWU.AWARD: One full-tuition scholarship valued at $22,149. Award is in the form of tuition reduction. Renewable.

Agribusiness Division - Wilbur-Ellis Company Scholarships

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal nutrition, animal/dairy science, agricultural business management, international agriculture or agricultural sales and marketing. Must live on family farm, have strong leadership skills and have participated in community service. Must plan to attend school at Oregon State, Chico State, Colorado State, University of Idaho, Fresno State or California Polytechnic. AWARD: Five scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Alpha Gamma Rho Educational Foundation Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture, excluding aviation, hospitality and non-agriculture. Scholarship available to males who will be attending a university with an Alpha Gamma Rho chapter. Must exhibit strong leadership skills. Visit www.agrs.org for a list of universities with Alpha Gamma Rho chapters.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.

American Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal nutrition; animal, dairy, equine or poultry science; animal breeding and genetics; biological sciences or pre-vet/vet sciences, with preference to applicants planning a career in veterinary medicine or veterinary food supply/public health.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable. Must apply online prior to 5:00 p.m. February 1st each year

Ameriprise Financial and AGSTAR Financial Services, ACA Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Member of one of the following Minnesota FFA chapters required: Fillmore Central, Kingsland, Lanesboro, Lewiston, Mabel-Canton, Rushford-Peterson, St. Charles or Winona. Family must be involved in production agriculture. Applicants must live on family farm.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.

Anderson Foundation Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Must be a resident of and plan to attend school in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Ohio. Applicant must have participated in community service.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,250 each, non-renewable.
