SelectSpace Scholarship

Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

Celia Berwin Memorial Foundation

Scholarship awards paid directly to the college or university for residents of Texas. Applicant must include professional, educational and character references. Deadline(s): None Limited to residents of Texas.

Ministry Scholarship Program

Scholarship Purpose: The purpose of the Mary E. Bivins Foundation Religious Scholarship Program is to educate ministers to preach the Christian religion. Scholarships are provided for an undergraduate or graduate education leading to a Bachelors or Masters Degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion. Priority will be given to students intending to serve as pulpit pastors upon graduation. Scholarship Criteria and Award: * The student must be dedicated to seeking an undergraduate or graduate education leading to a Bachelors or Masters Degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion and with the intent to serve as a pulpit pastor. * The student must be committed to studies and maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or above or a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 or above. * The student must be a permanent resident of one of the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. * The student must enroll and pass a minimum of 12 hours each semester at the undergraduate level or 9 hours each semester at the graduate level. * The student must enroll in a college or university that is an accredited institution. Scholarship awards are based upon $1,000 per semester for those students classified as a freshman or sophomore, $2,000 per semester for those students classified as a junior or senior and $3,000 per semester for graduate students to be used for tuition, books, fees, and other expenses as necessary for college/university attendance. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis, and the student is required to continue to meet all award criteria each semester and to complete an application annually.

Harry & Rose Caplovitz Medical Award Fund

Scholarship awards to a graduating senior at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana, or Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. Limited to residents of New Orleans, LA, and Houston, TX.

CareerFitter’s 16th Annual Scholarship

Our scholarship fund was founded in 2003 and we have awarded 19 winners during this time. We are trusted by universities, career coaches and companies around the world, and have helped hundreds of students find direction in choosing a well-fitting career path. We understand the overwhelming number of career opportunities available to students and how difficult this can be to navigate. CareerFitter has tailored its career assessment tool to examine multiple factors of the person to ensure a range of considerations is made to find an appropriate career. For the 2019 award, we have doubled the value to $1000 to further our support of students and their education. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. A specific major is not required for this award, but the applicant should have above a 2.4 Grade Point Average.

Dr. Charles and Phyllis Seward Scholarship

Established by Dr. and Mrs. Charles Seward to benefit Native American graduating high school seniors from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle. Eligibility
 • Graduating senior within the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle • Exhibit community service and leadership and be career oriented
 • Applicant must be employed, preference given to Native Americans
 • Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA while in college
 • Major in field of choice at Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University Application
 • AAF General Scholarship Application Award Selection
 • Amarillo Area Foundation Scholarship Screening Committee Scholarship Amount
 • $500
 • Renewable award pending committee review of renewal application

TCTA Scholarship Program

The Texas Cable & Telecommunications Association (TCTA) announces the opening of the scholarship program for the upcoming year. Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. The scholarships will be applied to educational expenses at accredited, nonprofit colleges, universities or vocational/technical schools in the United States. Those eligible to apply for TCTA Scholarships are high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors WHO ARE DEPENDENT CHILDREN of full-time employees of TCTA member companies. The parent-employee must have been employed by a TCTA member firm for at least one year. The parent must still be employed for a TCTA member firm at the time the winners are selected in April.
