Virginia Hindman Freeman Scholarship

Eligibility:Open to: Sophomore and junior undergraduate members of chapters in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, or are residents of Dallas County, Texas

Gabriel Lugo Scholarship (RIMS Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter)

Criteria: Permanent residents of Texas Full-time student (12 hours or more per term)* undergraduate junior/senior Field of study – normally a major or minor in a risk-management discipline Career objectives in risk management GPA of 3.0 or higher Relevant work experience Leadership skills Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college/university Application Package: A complete application typically requires the application, an essay, a resume, and a transcript. Chambers-Schoellkopt-Trim Scholarship Foundation

Scholarship awards to members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, Texas. Application form required. Limited to residents of the greater Dallas, TX, area.

James J. Farnsworth Health Careers Scholarships

Scholarships are available to graduate students, college junior and seniors intending to pursue the pediatric health care profession. Applicants can be former Childrens Medical Center patients; full-time or part-time employees; or students whose parents are employed by or volunteer at Childrens Medical Center. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 85 and must be accepted into an accredited pediatric health care program. Scholarship applications must be accompanied by a one-page abstract detailing students interest in pediatrics, transcripts, two reference letters, and resume. Application form required. Common Grace Ministries, Inc.

Scholarship to individuals attending Dallas Theological Seminary or another institute of higher education; grants to help indigent families of East Dallas, TX. Application form required. Giving limited to residents of East Dallas, TX.

Common Cents Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students who participate in the Common Cents philanthropic program at Dallas ISD schools. Giving primarily in the Dallas, TX area.

Consumer Credit Counseling Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) of Greater Dallas and offers one-year scholarships of up to $3,000 per year (up to $1,500 per semester) to CCCS of Greater Dallas clients who have successfully completed a Debt Management Plan and to immediate family members of such successful CCCS clients. Scholarship monies may be used for tuition, fees and/or books at any accredited college, university or technical institution in the United States or its possessions. C.C. Miao and Rosalind Miao Scholarship

Scholarships primarily for undergraduate studies at any accredited college or university in the state of Texas . To be eligible to apply, applicant must be from the Dallas area and must be of Chinese ethnic heritage - either born in China , Hong Kong or Taiwan , or born in the United States and have parents or grandparents who were born in China , Hong Kong or Taiwan. One-time scholarships of up to $2,500 per year awarded annually to one or more junior or senior college students or graduate students who are pursuing either a baccalaureate degree or an advanced degree in print, film, broadcasting, design, or electronic communication; and who have a demonstrated interest in aviation. The scholarship may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions.
