Kae and Kay Brockermeyer Endowed Scholarship Fund
To assist deserving law students who have an interest in trial advocacy and are residents of the state of Texas.
HSF/Nissan Community College Transfer
Program Description: This program, offered in partnership with Nissan, is available to community college students transferring to a four-year institution in Dallas. TX or Los Angeles, CA. Awards are in the amount of $2,500 for the full academic year. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage. Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be currently enrolled part-time or full-time at a community college. Have plans to transfer and enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four-year U.S. accredited institution in Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA. Be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Journalism/Communications or Public Relations. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or the equivalent). Must apply for Federal Financial Aid.
HSF/Citigroup Fellows Program
Program Description: The HSF/Citigroup Fellows Award is a two-year award. Selected students will receive $5,000 for each of their junior and senior years for a total award of $10,000. Awards will be disbursed in two disbursements -fall and spring- of $2,500 during the academic year upon receipt of enrollment verification, and provided the student maintains the standards of academic progress as defined by HSF. HSF/Citigroup Fellows will also be paired with a Citigroup employee who will serve as a professional mentor and offer career guidance. HSF/Citigroup Fellows will be invited to attend a professional development conference in the fall of both their junior and senior years. The conferences are fully funded by the Citigroup Foundation and will take place in different locations throughout the United States. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage. Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be a current sophomore enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; selected students must be enrolled as juniors during the following academic year. Be pursuing a degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics or Finance. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Must reside or attend college in one of the following city locations: New York City metropolitan area Miami/Fort Lauderdale area Tampa, Florida Dallas, Texas San Antonio, Texas Austin, Texas Los Angeles, California San Francisco Bay Area, California OR Must attend one of the following colleges or universities: Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, New York University, Northwestern University, Princeton University, Rutgers University, Stanford University, University of California - Los Angeles, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, University of Texas at Austin, or Yale University
E. Eugene Waide, M.D. Memorial Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to currently-enrolled college students from selected northern counties in Texas who are majoring in nursing or a medical field. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to currently-enrolled college students in the following northern Texas counties: Hansford, Hutchinson, Roberts, Hemphill, Ochiltree, and Lipscomb.
Ellen & Federico Jimenez Scholarship
Award Amount: $2,000 Requirements: * CA or TX college or state university undocumented students only * UC or UT students DO NOT qualify. * Community Service, Personal Essay, Transcripts, Letters of Rec.
Vikki Car Scholarships
For students of Latina heritage only, between ages of 17-22, residents of California or Texas.
The George Foreman Tribute to Lyndon B. Johnson Scholarship
George Foreman, television commentator and former heavyweight champion, created this $6,000 annual scholarship to honor Lyndon B. Johnson. It was developed for a broadcast journalism student at the University of Texas-Austin.
NEWH Dallas Chapter Scholarship
Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled student attending an accredited college
Must have completed half the requirements for a degree or certification in the program you are currently
enrolled
Must show financial need and have eligible outstanding debt for tuition, books or supplies at time of scholarship award
Must have a 3.0 GPA
Must have a career objective in one of the areas of the Hospitality Industry (i.e., Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)

Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award
Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most.
There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows:
- The video winner will receive $500
- The essay format winner will receive $250
Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows:
- YouTube videos: $20
- Blog articles: $15
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US.

FEA Texas Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located Texas. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Texas.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university in the U.S.
Must be applying for a study abroad program eligible for credit at the student’s educational institution
Must plan to study abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks in country
Is committed to supporting education abroad in his/her campus community through work with the FEA and his/her campus education abroad staff upon return
Preferences:
Applying to a study abroad program known for its academic rigor and immersion elements
Applying to a study abroad program that includes studying the language of the host country (if not English)
Applying to a study abroad program with a sustainable service-learning or volunteering component
Applying to a study abroad program in a non-traditional destination
Demonstrates financial need
FEA strongly encourages students to apply who represent a group that is traditionally underrepresented in education abroad
Groups typically underrepresented in study abroad include, but are not limited to:
Minorities
First-generation college students
STEM majors
Community college students
Students with disabilities
Galvanize the Future: An Edgar K Schutz Memorial Scholarship
The American Galvanizers Association’s (AGA) Galvanize the Future: An Edgar K Schutz Memorial Scholarship essay contest was developed to assist future specifiers with the rising cost of a college education. The scholarship is available to full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university in North America studying architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, material science, or a related field.
Three scholarships are awarded annually ($2,500; $1,500; and $1,000) for the top essays submitted.
Any full- or part-time, undergraduate or graduate student of any age enrolled at an accredited college or university only in North America. High school students are not eligible to enter this contest. Qualifying majors include architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, material science, or other related field.
