Mechanical Engineering Scholarships

AACE International is dedicated to advancing the study of cost engineering, and cost management through the integrative process of total cost management. To promote this objective, AACE awards academic scholarships to full-time students pursuing a related degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, computer sciences, business, quantity surveying, information technology, etc. The cost engineering profession uses the process of total cost management to identify and define those areas of business in which the discipline of cost engineering and cost management principles may be applied to plan and control resources, assets, costs, profitability, and risk. The major elements of the cost engineering discipline include estimating, project/product controls, planning and scheduling, business sciences, and project/product management.Scholarship Descriptions:AACE International scholarships are available in amounts ranging from $2000 to $8000. Specific awards will be determined based on your overall scholarship and collegiate accomplishments.Eligibility:Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time students who are enrolled in a program related to cost engineering/cost management. These programs include: * Agricultural Engineering * Architectural Engineering * Building Construction * Business Administration * Chemical Engineering * Civil Engineering * Industrial Engineering * Manufacturing Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Mining Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Quantity SurveyingApplicants in their final undergraduate year must have been accepted to attend a full-time graduate program in the next academic year to qualify for a scholarship.

The Dakota Corps scholarships are four-year, full-tuition-and-fee scholarships for South Dakota high school seniors who plan to major in and then become employed in one of the following critical-need occupations: special education, math education, science education, career and technical education, accountant/auditor, nursing, engineering (except mining), and information technology. Students must have a composite ACT score of 24 or greater and have graduated from an accredited South Dakota high school with a GPA of 2.8 or greater on a 4.0 scale. In addition, recipients must agree to stay in South Dakota and work in their critical need occupation for as many years as the scholarship was received plus one year.
