Hospitality Management Scholarships

Scholarship Details 1 Scholarship, open to ABA Members @ $2,500 each This scholarship focuses on broadening the number of traditionally under represented groups in the management and operation ranks of the transportation, travel, and tourism industry. Eligible candidates must have completed, at a minimum, their first year of college at an accredited university; must have a declared major or course of study relevant to the transportation, travel, and tourism industry; and must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Diversity Scholarship Selection Process Winners are judged on their high level of academic achievement, character, leadership, financial need, and commitment to advancing the transportation, travel, and tourism industry. Applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay discussing the role they hope to play in advancing the future of the transportation, motorcoach, travel, and tourism/hospitality industry. Those applicants affiliated with ABA-member companies receive additional consideration to those who are not affiliated with ABA-members. All applicants are notified of the competition results in May. An impartial selection committee of educators is responsible for ranking and choosing the winners. Online Application (January - April Only)

NEWH proudly announces the $5,000 NEWH/Clifford R. Tuttle Scholarship Award open to students pursuing a career affiliated with the Hospitality Industry in Interior Design. The chosen scholarship winner will be honored at the Platinum Circle Awards at the Conrad Hotel in New York City. The scholarship recipient is required to attend the award presentation with travel and lodging provided by NEWH, Inc. Requirements for The NEWH/Clifford R. Tuttle Scholarship Award are:  Must be a currently enrolled student attending an accredited college  Must have completed half the requirements for an undergraduate degree or be enrolled in a graduate program  Must show financial need and have eligible outstanding debt for tuition, books or supplies at time of award  Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA  Must be pursuing a career objective in the area of the Hospitality Industry in Interior Design  See application for additional submittal requirements
