Computer Science Scholarships

Requirements: Attend Hawai‘i Pacific University pursuing an undergraduate degree. Major in Computer Studies or International Studies.

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/food service/landscape/nursery/ranch or wildlife management, communications, economics, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, power & equipment, conservation, plant or soil science, entomology, agricultural computer systems, agricultural public service or general agriculture with a career path in agriculture or agribusiness. Resident of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin required. Must exhibit strong leadership skills.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural engineering, mechanization, power and equipment, biochemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, computer systems, environmental engineering and science, food packaging, food science and technology, pulp and paper technology, soil conservation or soil science. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must reside in Wisconsin, preferably in Brown, Calumet, Dane, Dodge, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Oconto or Outagamie counties. Preference given to applicants who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Engineering, Madison Area Technical College or Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the STEM Majors Application

Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. Program Description:The HSBC-North America Scholarship Program is available on a competitive basis to outstanding Latino undergraduate students. Program Description:The HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation Scholarship Program is a scholarship of up to $15,000 per year. Selected students may receive up to $15,000 for two academic years for a possible total award of $30,000.In addition, scholars will be offered the opportunity to participate in a possible paid 8-10 week summer internship at various Marathon Oil Corporation locations. Scholars will also be paired with a Marathon Oil Corporation employee who will serve as a professional mentor.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. Program Description:The HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $10,000 per year. Selected students will receive $10,000 for one academic year, renewable the following year upon confirmation of continued eligibility. Although not a requirement, preference will be given to students who are participants of a College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American heritage * Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. Program Description:The HSF/Qualcomm Q Awards Scholarship Program provides scholarships of $5,000. Description The HSF/VAMOS Scholarship Program is designed to assist high school seniors of Hispanic heritage from Cameron, Hidalgo, and Starr counties in Texas obtain a bachelor's degree. Selected students attending UT-Pan American may receive $3,000 per year. All others may receive up to $5,000 per year for four academic years.
