Wisconsin Scholarships

Some states or counties have hundreds of scholarships for which you may qualify.

Foth Production Solutions, LLC Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural engineering, mechanization, power and equipment, biochemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, computer systems, environmental engineering and science, food packaging, food science and technology, pulp and paper technology, soil conservation or soil science. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must reside in Wisconsin, preferably in Brown, Calumet, Dane, Dodge, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Oconto or Outagamie counties. Preference given to applicants who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Engineering, Madison Area Technical College or Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Kikkoman Foods, Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural business management, food science and technology, dietetics, food service management and other non-agricultural related areas. Applicant must be a resident of and planning to attend a school in Wisconsin.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.

Donald N. McDowell Memorial Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Resident of Wisconsin required.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $400. Not guaranteed.

MetLife Foundation Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, finance, economics, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, technology, plant pathology, plant/animal breeding and genetics, range/soil science or public service and administration in agriculture. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming required. No more than one scholarship per state.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

Clubs of America

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Email their essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)

HSF/Hormel Scholarship

Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a permanent address in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Be a Junior with an intended graduation date between December and August * Be majoring in Accounting, Mechanical Engineering (includes Mechanical Technology), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology (includes Industrial Management) Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration (includes Operations), Management, Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Food Service), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT/MIS) (includes Computer Information Systems), Zoology (includes Animal Science), Marketing (includes Professional Selling), Hospitality Administration (includes Hotel/Restaurant Management) or related majors * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Joyce Drew Toombs Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility:# Open to: Undergraduate and alumnae members of any Theta chapter in Wisconsin or Illinois, or Theta residents of Wisconsin or Illinois# Additional Criteria: none

June Longworth Hardy Scholarship

Recipients must be a member of Alpha Iota/Washington University in St. Louis (D) or a member of Theta who is majoring in elementary or secondary education in the Midwest. (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Missouri.)

Margaret Killen Banta Graduate Scholarship

Eligibility:# Open to: Senior undergraduate members of District I chapters# Additional Criteria: Awarded for the pursuit of graduate study, District I includes chapters in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Western Ontario, first preference given to members of Alpha Psi/Lawrence

Margaret Killen Banta Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility:# Open to: All undergraduate members of District I chapters# Additional Criteria: Awarded for the pursuit of undergraduate study, District I includes chapters in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Western Ontario, first preference given to members of Alpha Psi/Lawrence

William J. & Gertrude R. Casper Foundation Scholarship

Giving limited to residents of the Chippewa Falls, WI, area

The Vincent K. Derscheid Scholarship Fund

Eligibility: Student must be attending a Wisconsin college or university; and must be a declared accounting major in his/her junior year, who has been admitted to the college's department of business. Selection will be based primarily on academic achievement. Secondary criteria will include extra-curricular activities, recommendations from educators, and community involvement. This year's scholarship amount was $2,500, payable in equal annual installments of $1,250 each in the recipient's junior and senior years.
