Tripz.com Vacation Rental Community Scholarship

Tripz.com is offering up to $1,000 Scholarship for students that can best exemplify in an essay how tourism positively impacts their community and what attracts travelers to the communities local sights, sounds and experiences.

Rainbow City Band Scholarship

For students pursuing degrees in music or music education. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community. All scholarships emphasize demonstrated commitment to equality and civil rights for all people.

Gray Wolf Ranch Education Scholarship

For students studying substance abuse counseling, addiction, and treatment. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. LGBTQ Community Involvement: Preference is given to students who are self-identified LGBTQ, members of LGBTQ families, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBTQ community. All scholarships emphasize demonstrated commitment to equality and civil rights for all people.

Soaring Heart Scholarship

For students committed to offering compassionate support services to those dealing with illness, death, grief or trauma, especially where violent acts such as suicide must be addressed. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Vazquez Pride in Health Scholarship

For students pursuing advanced health care degrees (medicine, public health, and/or community health) with preference given to LGBTQ students of color, students who are Transgender/Gender Queer, or students who are from rural areas or plan to practice in rural communities. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Friends of Alan Turing Scholarship

For students who are pursuing studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Emmerson-Hoopes Scholarship

For students pursuing an accredited social work degree (BSW or MSW) from the University of Washington. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Dunham-Kerley Scholarship

For current and future LGBTQ and straight-ally leaders and role models. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Kathy Spadoni Memorial Scholarship

For graduating high school seniors entering a bachelor’s degree program who have demonstrated leadership skills and have a passion for making positive social change. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Daniella Altfeld-Moreno Scholarship

For Latino/Latina youth under age 25 with a preference for students involved in athletics. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. Equal Access & Opportunity Scholarship

For students who demonstrate significant financial need with limited opportunities for educational advancement. Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington but may study elsewhere. Applicants are considered a resident of one of these states if they: currently live within that state and have done so for at least three months prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the five years prior to the application deadline; or have lived within that state for more than one year at any time and have been continuously enrolled in an accredited academic institution for the five years prior to the application deadline. NAEOP–TRIO Scholarship

Two (2) $500.00 scholarships will be awarded to Upward Bound (current or former) students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, civic engagement, and commitment to higher education.
