American Regent Career Mobility Scholarship

To provide financial assistance to members of the American Nephrology Nurses' Association (ANNA) who are interested in pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Amount Awarded: $2000 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: Applicants must be current association members, have been members for at least 2 years, be currently employed in nephrology nursing, and be accepted or enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program in nursing. In their applications, they must indicate how the degree will apply to nephrology nursing and provide a time frame for completing their program. ANNA Foundation Career Mobility Scholarships

To support members of the American NephrologyNurses' Association (ANNA) who are interested in pursuing a nursing degree. Amount Awarded: $2000 Number Awarded: 4 for a baccalaureate degree and 4 for either a B.S.N. or other advanced nursing degree. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to 1) association members in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree and 2) members in pursuit of a B.S.N. or other advanced nursing degree. Applicants must current association members, have been members for at least 2 years, be currently employed in nephrology nursing, be accepted or enrolled in a degree program in nursing, and intend to pursue a career in nephrology nursing. Annette Frauman Scholarship for Advanced Practice Education

To provide financial assistance to members of the American Nephrology Nurses' Association (ANNA) who are interested in pursuing an advanced practice degree in nursing. Amount Awarded: $5000 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year; may be renewed 1 additional year. Eligibility: Applicants must be current association members, have been members for at least 2 years, be currently employed in a clinical nephrology nursing, and be accepted or enrolled in an accredited university graduate degree program in nursing. Applicants must indicate how the degree will apply to nephrology nursing, describe their nephrology nursing career objectives, explaining how this degree will help achieve those objectives, and provide a time frame for completing their program. James Lewis Tennis Scholarship

The James Lewis Tennis Scholarship Foundation offers two levels of financial assistance to the young tennis players of Jefferson County. We provide funds for beginning through collegiate tennis players to develop talent. College scholarships are available for junior ranked players.Funding for younger players could include tennis camps, tennis equipment, tournament fees, motel/travel expenses, tennis wear and private lessons. All tennis camps must be JLTSFI Board approved. Applicants must have: * Good character and a positive attitude * A love and respect for the game of tennis * A grade point average of at least 2.8 out of 4.0 (C+)Additional requirements for college scholarship applicants include: * Three letters of recommendation sent directly to the Foundation * State ranking * Written essay by applicant * Personal interview with a member of the JLTSFI Scholarship CommitteeFinancial need as well as merit and tennis ability will be considered by JLTSFI.
