NESTED BEAN
We are excited to announce our company’s annual $5000 scholarship, which is available to college students who submit the 800 word essay. Eligibility and application details are included below.
Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Open to all Marketing, Design & Analytics students (marketing, communications, advertising, graphic design, industrial design and data analytics)
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a verified college or university in one of the eligible majors/programs
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Submit a minimum 800-word essay describing a time you took a project, assignment, task, or idea to the “next level.” Tell us how you took advantage of the opportunity to stand out and exceeded expectations. What was the result of your efforts?
2. Submit the project, assignment, task, or idea that you featured in your essay for our review.
3. Offer 3 professional references with their name, position, contact information, and relationship to you or your project.
4. Send all submissions, reference list, and the following information to [email protected]:

- The University/College you are enrolled in
- Which year of university you are in (First Year, Sophomore, Junior, Senior)

Other details:
10 student will be selected to receive $500 in scholarship funds based on their performance.
Scholarship funds must be used to pay for qualified expenses, including tuition, books and on-campus room and board for the 2018-2019 academic year.
To enter, applicants are encouraged to send their submission to , along with their name, college/university, expected year of graduation, and intended major.
The deadline for submissions is 31st January, 2019. The winner will be notified individually and announced on or around 31st March, 2019.

Mark Beaumont Scholarship Fund
The Mark Beaumont Scholarship was established by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences in 2010 to honor the memory of COO of Capcom North America and Europe, Mark Beaumont.
This scholarship has been established to support students who are pursuing careers specializing in the business of interactive entertainment. Possible career paths for Mark Beaumont applicants include (but are not limited to) executive leadership, law, marketing, public relations, and business development.

NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award
Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending four-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Engineering, Business, Public Relations, Mass Media, Sports Marketing, Marketing, Management, or Technology. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0., and attend school in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. Upon notification of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a headshot electronically to HACU for NASCAR press purposes, and encouraged to apply to the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program (www.nascardiversity.com). NASCAR and its partners help nurture new talent and raise awareness of the industry's efforts to increase diversity and attract the best minds in America.
Robert E. Rich Aspiring Entrepreneurs Scholarship
This scholarship rewards students interested in business and entrepreneurship.
Four scholarships will be awarded in total. One recipient will be selected from each of the following schools: Culinary Institute of America, Johnson & Wales, Cornell School of Hotel Administration; Cornell University- Food Industry Management.
Award amount: $2500

David R. Parsley Endowed Scholarship Fund for Supply Chain Management
The David R. Parsley Endowed Scholarship Fund for Supply Chain Management was created to encourage students to pursue higher education towards furthering their career in food service supply chain management.
This scholarship was named after David R. Parsley, senior vice president of supply chain management for Brinker International, Inc., who is the former chairman of the National Restaurant Association’s Supply Chain Management Executive Study Group and was instrumental in the Group’s formation and growth. Under his leadership, the Group became a best-in-class forum for networking, relationship building and mutual exchange of information relative to supply chain. The group focuses on supply chain management best practices that have application across the restaurant, food service and hospitality industry.
Who Can Apply: Students pursuing undergraduate degrees in supply chain management.
HSMAI Foundation Mike Dimond Scholarship
The HSMAI Foundation, which has been providing scholarships to students pursuing a career in hospitality sales and marketing since 1983, awards merit scholarships to full-time students in the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Candidate category, and merit scholarships to part-time students pursuing Associate, Baccalaureate or Graduate Degrees. Graduate students are also considered for the new HSMAI Foundation Mike Dimond Scholarship.
Goldman Sachs/Matsuo Takabuki Commemorative Scholarship
Be a graduate student pursuing business or financial services related fields
Preference given to applicants demonstrating financial need

General criteria:

AAF Orlando Education Scholarship
Scholarship Guidelines
Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours in undergraduate studies leading to a career in advertising, marketing, graphic design or digital media;
The student must display excellent oral and written communication skills;
Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at a Florida institution;
AAF-Orlando prefers that students have an overall 3.0 grade point average, but those students with financial need who fall below a 3.0 are encouraged to apply;
The student must agree to assist AAF-Orlando and Ad 2 Orlando on projects;
The student must write a letter detailing their career goals and outlining their planned involvement with the Advertising Community;
The student must complete an application and submit it with a letter of recommendation from one of the student’s professors. A letter from an internship supervisor is recommended, but not required.
AAF-Orlando encourages participation in Ad 2 Orlando but does not restrict scholarship applicants to members.
The student may be asked to interview with the AAF-Orlando Scholarship Committee during the application process.
Four Year College Degree Scholarship Program
This scholarship is for qualified full-time college students, entering their third or fourth year of study, who are pursuing a degree to prepare for a career in the tag and label manufacturing industry.
Who is eligible?
Sophomores or juniors who demonstrate interest in entering the tag and label industry and will attend a 4 year accredited college or university on a full-time basis during their junior or senior year are encouraged to apply.
What other criteria does the student have to meet?
demonstrate interest in entering the tag and label industry
major course work should include those courses which are appropriate for the tag and label manufacturing industry, Management, Sales/Marketing, Graphic Arts, Graphic Design and Production
exhibit proficiency in overall academics (a minimum of 3.00 GPA)
provide an official college transcript for all coursework completed in the freshman and sophomore years (sent by the college directly to TLMI)
possess excellent character including work ethic, honesty and integrity. (Required references from three persons, who are not family members, should speak to these traits.)
Submit a one page, typed, personal statement including:
Personal information, including any special circumstances, interests and activities
Financial circumstances, including financial aid you are receiving and your educational budget
Career and/or educational goals and how they relate to the tag and label industry
Employment experience
Reasons you should be selected for this award

Member Company Employee Scholarship Program
ELIGIBILITY:
The applicant must be a full-time employee of a TLMI member company. The applicant must be attending an accredited college or university either part-time or full-time.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate interest in remaining in the tag and label industry. Major course work should include those courses which are appropriate for the tag and label manufacturing industry. Such courses might include:
• Management
• Sales/Marketing
• Graphic Arts
• Graphic Design
• Production
The applicant must exhibit proficiency in overall academics (a minimum of 3.00 GPA).
Upon the applicant’s request, the college or university shall send the official transcript of grades and courses to the TLMI office. The applicant shall possess excellent character, including work ethic, honesty and integrity.
Relatives of TLMI board members, corporate owners, and CEOs are ineligible.
TLMI offers up to four (4) scholarships annually to qualified member company employees to further their studies and strengthen their commitment to the industry. Awards may support coursework toward either an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Scholarship selection is based on: academic achievement, character, a demonstrated interest in the industry, a statement of goals, a recommendation from the applicant’s employer, and, in some cases, a personal interview. Applicants agree to remain in the industry with their current employer.
Once the award is granted, the applicant will submit his or her course schedule by semester to TLMI along with the cost of those programs. TLMI will submit payment directly to the institution for that portion of tuition not being paid by the employer, up to $ 5,000 per academic year.
