Benassurance Group Women in Business Scholarship

The Benassurance Group Women In Business Scholarship was formed to empower our newest generation of female students who are about to enter into the business community. The Benassurance Group will recognize an exceptional female student for her interest and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:  Insurance  Entrepreneurship  Finance  Sales  Marketing  Management Eligibility To be considered for the Women In Business Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following requirements:  Reside in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area  Current enrollment as a full time, undergraduate student  Provide current resume  Optional: Students may include a statement of 250 words or less to provide the selection committee with additional information. This is not required. Award 3 Female Finalists will be selected. The overall winner will receive a $750 award and each of the remaining finalists will receive a $125 award. Finalists will attend a 30-minute interview at the Benassurance Group office in Alexandria, VA.

APIASF/Hilton Scholarship

Minimum Eligibility Criteria Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply Be enrolling in a U.S. accredited college or university in the Fall. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED Must apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 15 Submit one letter of recommendation online. Preference for the following majors: hospitality, hotel management, business, finance, marketing or international affairs

HSF/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or 5th Year Senior in the next academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree Must major in one of the following: Accounting, Aeronautics/Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Biology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics/Robotics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Information Technology (IT/MIS), International Business, Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Materials Science/Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Science, Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the geographic locations listed above. MillerCoors National Scholarship

Amount: $ 3,000 /Renewable Criteria •Junior or Senior university classification by the Fall Semester •Open to Business majors including : Accounting, Communications, General Business, Economics, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Public Relations or Sales majors •Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident •Must be of Hispanic descent •Must have a 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale •Maintain full-time enrollment status (12 hours) for the duration of the scholarship period •Provide two letters of recommendation highlighting leadership potential •Scholar must attend ¡Adelante!'s Annual Leadership Institute in San Antonio, TX (Sponsorship to attend is included along with the scholarship) •Must attend a Partnering University

Catherine W. Pierce Scholarship

Catherine W. Pierce scholarship was established to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. Mrs. Pierce had a great interest in helping deserving students pursue the fields of Art or History. The award amount is up to $5,000. The WIIT Scholarship Program

The WIIT Charitable Trust scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to further educational objectives of women who are interested in international development, international relations, international trade, international economics, or international business.  Amount: 2 scholarships of $1500 each (one for an undergraduate female student and one for a graduate female student) for the Summer or Fall Semester and the Spring Semester. Each recipient will also receive one year free membership in WIIT or OWIT.  Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria. No exceptions will be considered.  Be currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. university or college, either full-time or part- time. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible.  Demonstrated interest in international development, international relations, international trade, international economics, or international business;  And be a woman.  Note: Applications from relatives of the directors and officers of the Association of Women in International Trade, Inc. and members of the WIIT Charitable Trust Committee and the selection committee are not eligible for consideration.  Selection Criteria: Awards will be based on quality of the assigned essay. Furthermore, the selection committee will pay close attention to the candidate’s interest in international trade issues. Awards are made without regard to race, creed, color, or religion. WIIT reserves the right to revise, suspend, or discontinue this program without notice. Further, essays may be published in the WIIT Newsletter if they are of publishable quality.  Entry Period: Completed applications, essays and transcripts, or letter of admission (proof of acceptance to a college or university) must be received no later than March 15 if applying for assistance for the Summer or Fall and July 15 if applying for assistance for Spring.
