Program Description:Through the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the MassMutual Financial Group is offering scholarships to assist outstanding minority students. This scholarship is open to African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander American and Hispanic undergraduate students in selected geographic locations and in selected majors. The award amount is $5,000.Eligibility Requirements * Be of African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander American or Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Have plans to enroll as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior * Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2009-2010 academic year * Be majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics or Statistics * Students must have a permanent address in one of the following metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, or San Francisco * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:The HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $10,000 per year. Selected students will receive $10,000 for one academic year, renewable the following year upon confirmation of continued eligibility. Although not a requirement, preference will be given to students who are participants of a College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American heritage * Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Be a Sophomore majoring in Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering), Biology (includes Molecular Biology), Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Chemistry, Zoology (includes Entomology), Engineering, Botany/Horticulture (includes Crop Science, Plant Science, Plant Pathology), Chemical Engineering (includes Process Engineering), Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (includes Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (IT/MIS) * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Description The HSF/VAMOS Scholarship Program is designed to assist high school seniors of Hispanic heritage from Cameron, Hidalgo, and Starr counties in Texas obtain a bachelor's degree. Selected students attending UT-Pan American may receive $3,000 per year. All others may receive up to $5,000 per year for four academic years. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be a high school senior graduating from a high school in one of the following Texas counties: Cameron Hidalgo Starr Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Must be a Pell grant-eligible student Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME as a Freshman in a degree-seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the next academic year Must plan to apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:The Winchell's & Yum Yum Donuts Scholarship Program is available on a competitive basis to freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors in a 4-year college or university of Hispanic heritage from California. All students welcome to apply with preference given to business-related majors. Awards are in the amount of $3,000.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. * Be a FULL-TIME student in a degree seeking program at a four year accredited U.S. institution in California. * Must currently reside or attend school in California with a preference given to students from one of the following locations: Greater Los Angeles, San Diego, Northern California. * Preference given to students attending Loyola Marymount University, University of San Diego. * All Majors allowed with preference given to students majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Advertising, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Hospitality Management, Management, Marketing or Public Relations. * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office unless otherwise indicated. Have completed at least one Economics/Finance course with a grade of B or better.

The eligibility requirements differ by academic level as follows: Undergraduate Students Must Be: A declared accounting major with an overall and accounting grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 on a four point scale. A minority student who has satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours, or 45 quarter hours, equivalent college work including at least six (6) semester hours in accounting. Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent) unless you are completing your final semester of study, at a four-year or upper division institution. Students who will be attending a four-year school for the first time must include an acceptance letter from the school. Graduate Students Must Be: A minority student who is enrolled in the final year of a five-year accounting program or an undergraduate accounting major who is presently accepted or enrolled in a master-level accounting; business administration, finance or taxation program, or who had any undergraduate major and is presently accepted in a master-level accounting program. Enrolled as a full-time graduate student (nine semester hours or equivalent), unless you are completing your final semester of study.

Program Description: The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and General Motors (GM) have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latinos pursuing degrees in Engineering and Business. The award amount is $2,500. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage. Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands for the upcoming academic year (enrollment is verified in the Fall). Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Be majoring in Engineering (electrical, industrial, manufacturing and mechanical) or Business (accounting, business administration, economics and finance). Must complete the GM Online Assessment (required of semifinalist only).

Program Description: The HSF/Citigroup Fellows Award is a two-year award. Selected students will receive $5,000 for each of their junior and senior years for a total award of $10,000. Awards will be disbursed in two disbursements -fall and spring- of $2,500 during the academic year upon receipt of enrollment verification, and provided the student maintains the standards of academic progress as defined by HSF. HSF/Citigroup Fellows will also be paired with a Citigroup employee who will serve as a professional mentor and offer career guidance. HSF/Citigroup Fellows will be invited to attend a professional development conference in the fall of both their junior and senior years. The conferences are fully funded by the Citigroup Foundation and will take place in different locations throughout the United States. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage. Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be a current sophomore enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; selected students must be enrolled as juniors during the following academic year. Be pursuing a degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics or Finance. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Must reside or attend college in one of the following city locations: New York City metropolitan area Miami/Fort Lauderdale area Tampa, Florida Dallas, Texas San Antonio, Texas Austin, Texas Los Angeles, California San Francisco Bay Area, California OR Must attend one of the following colleges or universities: Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, New York University, Northwestern University, Princeton University, Rutgers University, Stanford University, University of California - Los Angeles, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, University of Texas at Austin, or Yale University

Program Description: The Hispanic Scholarship Fund and JP Morgan Chase have partnered to provide scholarship opportunities to Hispanic students nationwide who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in business administration, finance, or economics. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to full-time degree-seeking students. The award amount is $2,500. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage. Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics at a U.S. accredited college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands. Be a Sophomore or Junior in a U.S. accredited college or university during the current academic year. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

The purpose of the Frank H. Ault Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to current college students who have declared a major in finance or accounting. Students must be attending an accredited four-year university, community college students who are transferring to an accredited four-year university, or local residents who are attending an accredited four-year university elsewhere. Applicants must have a demonstrated financial need and a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Also, students must have participated in extra-curricular or community service activities. Preference will be given to students who are active members of or have taken leadership in their school's accounting society. Past recipients of this scholarship may re-apply.

The AICPA Scholarships for Minority Accounting Students provides competitive awards to outstanding full time undergraduate minority students at regionally accredited institutions to encourage their: selection of accounting as a major, entry into the profession and ultimately achieving the CPA designation. Full time graduate students (who are not CPAs) seeking a masters degree in accounting or taxation and students pursuing a masters in business administration, if their undergraduate degree is in accounting, are also eligible for this program. Undergraduate students must have completed at least 30 semester hours or equivalent of college work, with at least six hours in accounting. All applicants must have an overall and accounting grade point average of at least 3.3. Awards are primarily based on merit (academic achievement). For purposes of this program, the AICPA defines minority students as those of Black, Native American, Pacific Island races, or of Hispanic ethnic origin. All applicants must be U.S. citizens. The scholarships are awarded by the AICPA Minority Initiatives Committee and are funded by the AICPA Foundation from monies contributed by the AICPA, its members, public accounting firms, and others. The scholarships are awarded once each year (in August) for the following academic year. The maximum award is $5,000 and over the past 10 years the AICPA has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships to minority students. To be eligible for a minority undergraduate scholarship, applicants must: be a declared accounting major (this must be indicated on your transcript) with an overall and accounting grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3; have satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours, or 45 quarter hours, or equivalent college work, including at least six semester hours (or equivalent) in accounting; and be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent) at an accredited institution. To be eligible for a minority graduate scholarship, you must: be in a five-year accounting program, or have been an undergraduate accounting major who is presently accepted in a masters level accounting, business administration, finance, or taxation program, or have had any undergraduate major and are now presently accepted in a masters level accounting program; and be enrolled as a full-time student (nine semester hours or equivalent).
