Automation Specialist Training Certificate Courses (AST-CCs Scholarships)
 The academic achievement required to gain scholarship consideration is to submit an essay with 600 or more words on the topic of “New or Future Industrial Automation Technology”. This will require internet research and demonstrate that the applicant has computer and internet literacy which is essential to work with today’s automation technology. Ten full scholarships for a total of $10,000 plus in education will be awarded.
Courses these scholarships will fully fund are (Each recipient receives all 7 independent study certificate courses, courses in win pc software format) Motor Controls, VFD Basics, HMI Basics, PLC Training, Electrical and PLC Troubleshooting, PAC Training, DeviceNet Basics.

APS/IBM Research Internship for Undergraduate Women
 The American Physical Society and IBM co-sponsor a research internship program for undergraduate women. The goal is to encourage women students to pursue graduate studies in science and engineering.Eligibility    * Must be female with sophomore or junior standing at a U.S. college or university at the time of application    * Must be majoring in chemistry, physics, materials science or engineering, computer science or engineering, chemical, electrical, mechanical engineering    * Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA    * No citizenship restriction.
The Graduate Fellowship Award
 Eligible applicants for Hertz Fellowships must be students of the applied physical, biological and engineering sciences who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States of America, and who are willing to morally commit to make their skills available to the United States in time of national emergency (see our Moral Commitment section).College seniors wishing to pursue the Ph.D. degree in any of the fields of particular interest to the Foundation, as well as graduate students already in the process of doing so, may apply.We screen Fellowship applicants for qualities the Foundation believes are essential ingredients of future professional accomplishment and/or reasonably reliable leading indicators of future professional success. These include:• Exceptional Intelligence and Creativitywith particular emphasis on those aspects pertinent to technical endeavors• Excellent Technical Educationevidenced not only by transcripts and reference reports from senior technical professionals, but also by the results of a personal, technical interview• Orientation and Commitment to the applications of the physical sciences as is typical of most applicants• Extraordinary Accomplishment in technical or related professional studies which may offset slightly lower academic records, or add luster to outstanding ones• Features of Temperament and Character conducive to high attainment as a technical professional the assessment of which is difficult, albeit important to the Foundation• Appropriate moral and ethical values of considerable interest to the Foundation in the furthering of our basic goals• Leverage what difference the award of the Hertz Fellowship is likely to make in the kind, quality, and/or personal creativity of the student's graduate researchWe do not support students pursuing advanced professional degrees other than the Ph.D., such as enrollees in M.D., LLD or MBA programs, although we will support the Ph.D. portion of a joint M.D./Ph.D. study program.
D. Fred and Mariam L. Bovie Scholarship
 Awarded to a full-time undergraduate pursuing a minimum four-year degree in welding engineering at The Ohio State University. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average. Financial need is not required to qualify. Electrical engineering candidates will be considered if there are no qualified welding engineering candidates. The applicant must be a citizen of the United States. One award for $3,000 is available. The application deadline is February 15, for the following fall term. Funding is available June 1 - May 31.
ASDSO Senior Undergraduate Scholarship
 he ASDSO Scholarship Program, established in 1992, awards annual undergraduate scholarships to U.S. citizens enrolled in accredited programs in engineering or related fields and planning careers related to the design, construction, or operation of dams.
Scholarships have ranged from $5,000 to $10,000 in recent years. Successful recipients must be U.S. citizens and enrolled full-time at the senior level during the following year's academic term in an accredited civil engineering program, or in a related field as determined by ASDSO, and must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in hydraulics, hydrology or geotechnical disciplines, or in another discipline related to the design, construction and operation of dams.
Minimum Criteria
Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 for the first three years of college and be recommended by their academic advisor.

 Microsoft selects final candidates based on the following criteria:    * Eligibility    * Quality of application    * Displayed interest in the software industry    * Commitment to leadership    * Financial needEligibility:To be eligible, you must be enrolled full time in a Bachelor's degree program at a 4-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico at the time you submit the application. Plus, we’ll need to see that you’re making satisfactory progress toward an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, math, or physics—and that you demonstrate an interest in computer science. Because the scholarship is merit based, you must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 4.0, or a 4.0 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 5.0. The Michael & Anna Kurty Scholarship for Students of Engineering
 Mr. & Mrs. George Kurty created this scholarship in honor of Mr. Kurty’s parents.Criteria:?	Be a junior, senior, or graduate student in the fall enrolled at Ball State University, Purdue University, University of Evansville, Tri-State University, or Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology?	Be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or any of their sub-disciplines?	Demonstrate a GPA of 2.5 or higher? Richard Schroeck Hospitality Engineer Scholarship
 This scholarship is intended specifically for hourly hospitality engineers and maintenance personnel, as well as their dependents. More specifically for hourly hospitality engineers and maintenance personnel who are employed in lodging establishments which are members in good standing of the California Hotel & Lodging Association. It does so by providing scholarships to those employees or their dependents who have demonstrated a desire to either make engineering/maintenance or the lodging industry a career, and who have applied to or are enrolled in either a two or four year college or program related to facility engineering and/or operating maintenance. (These programs can include courses such as refrigeration or electrical maintenance, for example, and they do not have to be of any minimum length.)All applications must be filled out properly and the correct documentation. All applicants must be a California resident. All scholarships are self-nominated. An interview will be required (either in person or by phone). Must have graduated from high school with a 2.7 or better GPA (based on the four point system). Or industry experience for Richard Schroeck Scholarship . Each scholarship is for one academic year. They may be renewed by re-application. For transfer or university students, the scholarship will be activated after the first completed semester. All scholarships are merit based, however, if two candidates are otherwise equally qualified, preference may be given to applicants demonstrating a financial need. Failure to meet all requirements may cause the CH&LA Education Foundation to revoke a scholarship and/or be repaid by the recipient.
Jeffrey Vernon Memorial Scholarship Fund
 Eligibility Criteria:•Display outstanding achievement in the field of electronics, radio/TV or electricity.•Be a student for at least 2 semesters at the Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center.•Be a graduating senior attending, or who has attended, the Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center.•Be accepted to a university or college to complete career preparation.•Exhibit outstanding attitude toward school and community.
Imagine America High School Scholarship
 The Imagine America Foundation created its Imagine America High School Scholarship Program in 1998 to help provide scholarships for high school students. This annual scholarship program has helped thousands of high school seniors afford a career education at hundreds of career schools across the United States.
