AAC Andrew Macrina Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Requirements: The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs, will award a limited number of scholarships annually, based on the availability of institutional and private funds. To be considered by the scholarship committee, an application must meet the following requirements: • Be an exemplary student. Have or maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. • Be currently accepted to an accredited, post-secondary college, with a major in either culinary or pastry arts, or be an ACF registered apprentice. • Have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef. Linda Cullen Memorial Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Requirements The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs, will award a limited number of scholarships annually, based on the availability of institutional and private funds. To be considered by the scholarship committee, an application must meet the following requirements: • Be an exemplary student. Have or maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. • Be currently accepted to an accredited, post-secondary college, with a major in either culinary or pastry arts, or be an ACF registered apprentice. • Have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef. AAC Balestreri/Cutino Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Requirements: The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs, will award a limited number of scholarships annually, based on the availability of institutional and private funds. To be considered by the scholarship committee, an applicant must meet the following requirements: • Be an exemplary student. Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher. • Be currently enrolled in an accredited, post-secondary college, with a major in either culinary or pastry arts, or be an ACFEF registered apprentice. • Have completed a grading or marking period (trimester, semester or quarter). • Have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef. AAC Chaîne des Rôtiseurs Scholarship Fund

Charlie Trotter’s Culinary Education Foundation/American Culinary Federation Education Foundation

Eligibility Requirements: Charlie Trotter’s Culinary Education Foundation partnered with ACF’s Education Foundation to award need-based scholarships to students seeking culinary careers and the pursuit of excellence. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded annually based on fund availability. To be considered by the scholarship committee, an applicant must meet the following criteria: • Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. • Be currently enrolled or accepted in an accredited, post-secondary school with a major in the culinary/hospitality field, or be an ACFEF-registered apprentice. • Demonstrate some level of foodservice experience or food classes at the secondary school level.

The Chef’s Academy Scholarship

Scholarship Information: The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs, will award two scholarships each year. Each recipient will receive $2,500 per year for four years to be applied directly to the student’s account at the institution. Eligibility Requirements To be considered by the scholarship committee, an applicant must meet the following requirements: • Be an exemplary student. Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. • Be a high school senior eligible to graduate the same year as the scholarship is applied for. • Be currently accepted to the institution with a major in either culinary or pastry arts. • Have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef Please check the website for more information.

Each recipient will receive $2,500 per year for four years to be applied directly to the student’s account at the institution. Johnson & Wales University Scholarship - Culinary

General information: The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs, will award grants annually and on a competitive basis to exemplary working culinary professionals who wish to update their skills through continuing education. Grants will be awarded based on availability of funds. To be eligible, an applicant must must meet the following requirements: For initial certification Pass required certification class with a “C” grade or better For continuing education • Be a current ACF member in good standing for a minimum of 2 years. • Must be certified as a chef de cuisine or higher. Grants of up to $500 will be awarded for an approved course. Please check with the Education Department at [email protected] if you have a question regarding whether or not your course is approved. Application Deadline Grants will be accepted and awarded throughout the year.

Hermann G. Rusch, AAC, HOF Fund

C-CAP Cooking Competition for Scholarships

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet ALL of the requirements listed below in order be eligible for the C-CAP Cooking Competition for Scholarships: Applicant must currently attend a C-CAP partner public high school or after school program Applicant must be a Junior or Senior in high school, or must be enrolled in a GED program, or must have passed the GED test Applicant must be 21 years old or younger Senior applicants must have taken one (1) culinary course at the C-CAP approved high school or after school program (includes the course you are currently enrolled in), two (2) courses is preferred Junior applicants must currently be enrolled in a culinary course All GED applicants must have their GED scores on or before the date of the final competition The C-CAP Cooking Competition for Scholarships is a three-tier cooking competition where high school students compete for scholarships to support their post-secondary culinary and hospitality education. Students must be selected to participate in each of the following steps: C-CAP Application C-CAP Preliminary Competition C-CAP Final Competition
