Maurice G. Young Scholarship

Mildred E. Turner Scholarship
Special Qualifications: • Scholarship will be based on financial need. • The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA. • Special consideration give to those who have attended Wee Child Care Center for one year or more.
ACS/PPG Scholars Plus Program
To qualify, a candidate must be: - African-American, Hispanic/Latino, or America Indian; - a U.S. citizen or permanent residents of the U.S.; - a full-time student at an accredited college, university, or community college; - high academic achievers in chemistry or chemical science; - able to demonstrate evidence of financial need according to the FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Applicants must be a high school senior from one of the following locations entering a four-year undergraduate program intending to major in chemistry or chemical engineering: Lake Charles, Louisiana; Natrium or New Martinsville, West Virginia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Cleveland, Ohio; Shelby and Lexington, North Carolina; Oak Creek, Wisconsin; and Houston, Texas.
Oshkosh Elks' Ladies #292, Inc. Memorial Scholarship
Requirements:TranscriptsACT or SATOther Requirements: • Letters of recommendation from two teachers. Letters of recommendation from responsible community persons who are not members of the student's immediate family. • Optional: Letter of recommendation from a member of Oshkosh Elk's Ladies #292.
Oshkosh Garden Club Helen Spencer Scholarship
Special Qualifications: • Scholarship is available to a graduating senior pursing a career in horticulture, forestry, or agriculture, or any field relating to the preservation, beautification, or sustenance of the land or water.Requirements:TranscriptsACT or SATOther Requirements: • Name and address of parents or guardians, number and ages of dependent children in family, statement by application including extracurricular activities, vocational goal, hobbies, personal ambitions, or anticipated problems.
