Steele Fund and the Lou Drane Fund, both of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, is used annually to grant major scholarship assistance to needy students of classical music in the fields of composition, teaching and performance.1. An applicant should have a serious interest in classical music and display unusual ability and/or creativity.2. Financial need is a determining factor. Please attach the FAFSA Student Aid Report. With your FAFSA Student Aid Report, please make sure to include the Cover Letter of the report, which willindicate your EFC, or Estimated Family Contribution. The EFC is not listed on the electronic application that you submit to FAFSA. The EFC is critical in determining financial need. We know that the FAFSAReport may not arrive before the due date. However, please send a copy of the report as soon as you receive it.
