Chasman Schp for Women Recipients must be accepted for credit in a degree-oriented undergraduate program in the natural sciences, engineering, or mathematics at an accredited institution, and must be entering the junior or senior undergraduate, or first-year graduate level. Recipients will be required to enter into an agreement with Brookhaven Women in Science in which Brookhaven Women in Science will reserve the right of claim to the award should the recipient fail to complete two consecutive sessions of formal study in good academic standing. Selection will be based on academic and life/career record, letters of reference, and a short essay on career goals. Finalists will be chosen on merit and career goals. To be eligible for our scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S.-based college or university with a major in architecture or a closely related field (such as urban planning, interior design, or environmental design) and be able to provide proof of enrollment.
- The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
