Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award
Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most.
There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows:
- The video winner will receive $500
- The essay format winner will receive $250
Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows:
- YouTube videos: $20
- Blog articles: $15
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US.

Minnesota Department of Education

The Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Minneapolis Scholarship Program
ELIGIBILITY: Member of a congregation of the Minnesota South District. Must be a full-time student pursuing a career in professional ministry or lay ministry. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. For more information, go to: http://www.TheLCF.org/
FEA Minnesota Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located Minnesota. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Minnesota.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university in the U.S.
Must be applying for a study abroad program eligible for credit at the student’s educational institution
Must plan to study abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks in country
Is committed to supporting education abroad in his/her campus community through work with the FEA and his/her campus education abroad staff upon return
Preferences:
Applying to a study abroad program known for its academic rigor and immersion elements
Applying to a study abroad program that includes studying the language of the host country (if not English)
Applying to a study abroad program with a sustainable service-learning or volunteering component
Applying to a study abroad program in a non-traditional destination
Demonstrates financial need
FEA strongly encourages students to apply who represent a group that is traditionally underrepresented in education abroad
Groups typically underrepresented in study abroad include, but are not limited to:
Minorities
First-generation college students
STEM majors
Community college students
Students with disabilities
ASHRAE Minnesota Chapter Peter Potvin Scholarship
A one-year $3,000 scholarship available annually to an undergraduate mechanical or architectural engineering student enrolled full-time in a post-secondary educational institution within the geographic boundaries of the Minnesota chapter and/or who has graduated from a high school in the chapter area.
General Criteria:
Available to full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% and be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution that meets one of the following:
The institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch or
The program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Belles of the American Royal (BOTAR) Presidents’ Scholarship
Provides four AFA Leader and Academic Scholarships to female, Midwest agriculture students with a special interest in agriculture education . This scholarship provides a $3,200 academic tuition/fees scholarship, $1,000 registration fee for AFA Leaders Conference and the opportunity for the student to attend the BOTAR General Membership Meeting in January of her initial scholarship selection year. This scholarship is renewable up to three times if all scholarship requirements are fulfilled and at the discretion of the BOTAR committee. If a student receives this scholarship an additional three times, she will be asked to attend the BOTAR General Membership Meeting in her senior year as well, to share about her experiences.
Students eligible to receive the AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship provided by BOTAR must:
Be a female student pursuing a four-year degree in Agriculture Education or related field in the Midwest.
Attend the BOTAR General Membership Meeting in January of her initial scholarship selection year.

Whitney Arcee Foundation
The foundations primary interests are education, social services, humanities, and the arts in MN. Applications are also accepted from individuals pursuing college or graduate school degrees or considering a religious career, and are in need of scholarship, fellowship, or loan assistance; fine arts and performing arts will also be considered.
Royale B. and Eleanor M. Arvig Memorial Scholarship Fund
Scholarship awards to graduating seniors from select Minnesota school districts. Limited to residents of MN.
SelectSpace Scholarship
Selectspace scholarship
At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree.
Who may apply?
U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30.
Next Steps:
The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
The J. G. & V. Blaha Educational Scholarship Foundation
Scholarships awarded to residents of Belle Plaine School District No. 716, MN. Initial approach: Letter Deadline(s): May 1
Josephine Bowden Student Trust Fund
Scholarships only to female students attending Mankato State University, MN. Application form required. Deadline(s): Mar. 1 Final notification: May Limited to residents of Mankato, MN.
Andy and Carol Hilger Pro-Life Scholarship
This Scholarship Fund was created by Andy and Carol Hilger to assist students who are committed to the pro-life movement. The following selection criteria shall be considered: 1. Applicant must be enrolled at St. Cloud Technical College, St. Cloud State University, College of St. Benedict.
