Dr. J Richard Crouse Memorial Scholarship

Recipient must be a Frederick County or Washington County graduating senior accepted to and enrolled at the University of Maryland studying medicine, dentistry or business.

Frederick C.C. Graduate to Mount St. Mary's Cllge

Recipient must be a graduate of Frederick Community College and must be enrolled at Mount St. Mary's College. Selection will be based upon academic achievement, financial need, and community service.

Frederick County Agriculture Scholarship

This Fund provides an annual scholarship award to persons pursuing a post-secondary degree at an accredited institution studying one of the following or related areas: agriculture; agribusiness/management; agricultural economics; agricultural engineering/mechanics; agricultural production and technology; agronomy or crop science; animal sciences; botany; farm and range management; fish, game or wildlife management; food sciences/technology; home economics/nutrition/human development; forestry; horticulture; natural resources management; soil conservation/soil science; pre-veterinary medicine; and architecture and urban studies. Recipients must be U.S. citizens residing in Frederick County, MD who have been accepted as freshmen in college, are currently enrolled in college, or are age 18 or over and deriving more than 50 percent of their income from farm related activities.

Frederick County Retired Teachers Association Schp

Applicants must be Frederick County residents in need of financial aid and who enroll on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in education. Awards will be based upon the student's academic achievements, academic promise, financial need, community service, and commitment to becoming a professional educator.

Esther Grinage Kindergarten Scholarship

Recipients will be students of promise who have financial need, pursuing post-secondary education, with preference given to candidates studying early childhood education.

Edward Dawson Grove, Sr. Scholarship Fund

This Fund provides scholarship support for a Frederick County student studying agronomy or agriculture at an accredited post-secondary educational institution.

Norine Haas Mental Health Scholarship

Annual scholarship provided for graduates of Frederick County secondary schools who are pursuing careers in mental health at the graduate level.

James R. Hahn Memorial Scholarship

Recipient must be a Frederick County resident studying in the field of transportation.

U. Mehrl & Margaret T. Hooper Scholarship

Recipient must be a Frederick County resident pursuing post-secondary education studying at a trade or technical training school. Awards will be based upon financial need, ability, potential in chosen field of study, and commitment to pursuing higher education.

Sandra E. Long Memorial Scholarship

recipient must be a Frederick County resident studying political science or history at Frederick Community College, Hood College, and/or Mount St. Mary's College.

Charles Thomas & Mary Ellen Main Scholarship

Recipient must be a Frederick County resident attending an accredited college or university. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and academic promise, nut do not necessarily have to be in the top tier of their class academically.

Chief Charles V. Main Scholarship

recipient must be a Frederick County resident pursuing a career in criminal justice or public safety. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited college or university of their choice. Awards are based upon academic promise, financial need, community service, extracurricular activities, character, and commitment to pursuing a career in police work.

Millard Milburn Rice Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships support Frederick County residents studying at either Western Maryland College or university of Maryland at College Park. Any student from first year through graduate school is eligible. Scholars are selected based upon their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and financial need, with special emphasis on the latter.

C. Eugene Shaff, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Recipients must be graduates of Frederick County Public Schools majoring in a scientific field at an accredited college or university. Possible majors may include, but are not limited to, physics, biology, and chemistry. Scholarships shall be awarded based upon the applicant's academic merit and financial need.

Mary E. M. & Ruth E. Smith Scholarship

Scholars must be a Frederick County residents pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university. Scholarship is renewable for up to four years of post-secondary education.

Ross & Pauline Smith Scholarship

Recipient must be a Frederick County resident attending an accredited college or university. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and academic promise, but do not necessarily have to be in the top tier of their class academically.

Giving limited to Frederick County, MD.

Alliance to the Frederick County Medical Society Scholarship Fund

Founded by the Alliance for scholarships for students in health related fields. Giving limited to Frederick County, MD.

Derek Matthew Angel Scholarship Fund

Founded by Jon and Lindy Angel for scholarships, preferably information technology majors. Giving limited to Frederick County, MD.

Ashley Foundation Fund

Founded by its Board of Directors for scholarships and grants providing support to teens diagnosed with cancer. Giving limited to Frederick County, MD.
