Students for Success Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established by the Board of Directors of the Community of Owensboro-Daviess County specifically to address the need in the Owensboro community to increase the rate of completed Bachelors degrees among our residents. Eligibility: This endowed fund will provide tuition scholarships of up to $1,000 annually to local students pursuing a higher education. The scholarship criteria is limited to residents of Daviess County with a minimum of an Associates degree or 60 college credit hours who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree at Brescia University, Kentucky Wesleyan College or Western Kentucky University, Owensboro Campus. This fund offers awards to students with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and preference is given to financial need based applicants who do not qualify for Federal Pell Grants. The number and amount of scholarships will depend upon the amount of funds available for grants annually. The amount allocated for any academic year shall be divided equally between semesters and paid directly to the students selected university.
