Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award

Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most. There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows: - The video winner will receive $500 - The essay format winner will receive $250 Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows: - YouTube videos: $20 - Blog articles: $15 To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US. APTRA-Clete Roberts/Kathryn Dettman Memorial Journalism Scholarship

Scholarship winners must exhibit enthusiasm, aptitude and a sense of commitment for a career in some aspect of broadcast news. Judges will take into consideration a combination of academic achievement, financial need and broadcast career goals that embody the spirit of Clete Roberts and Kathryn Dettman. All candidates must currently be attending a college or university in one of the 13 APTRA states and be involved in some aspect of broadcast news. To be eligible for APTRA Scholarships, applicants must be a college student currently enrolled at a college or university in one of the 13 APTRA states -- Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. (Incoming freshman and high school seniors are not eligible) Applicants should be pursuing a career in broadcast news. Students enrolled at schools outside the 13 APTRA states are not eligible. Applicants may provide links to YouTube or other sites with examples of their work. Text material may be attached to the email. SelectSpace Scholarship

Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

Our scholarship fund was founded in 2003 and we have awarded 19 winners during this time. We understand the overwhelming number of career opportunities available to students and how difficult this can be to navigate. For the 2019 award, we have doubled the value to $1000 to further our support of students and their education. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. A specific major is not required for this award, but the applicant should have above a 2.4 Grade Point Average.

Armed Forces and Public Safety Officer Scholarship

Eligibility For a child of a military member or public safety officer, the student must: Be an Idaho resident Be a graduate from an Idaho high school or its equivalent (GED from Idaho) Enroll as a student in an academic* or professional-technical program* at North Idaho College, Lewis-Clark State College, College of Southern Idaho, Eastern Idaho Technical College, University of Idaho, Boise State University, Idaho State University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, The College of Idaho, or College of Western Idaho Be a child already born, or born after a military member or public safety officer is determined to be imprisoned or missing in action, or is killed or becomes totally and permanently disabled. For a spouse of a military member or public safety officer, the student must: Be an Idaho resident Enroll as a student in an academic* or professional-technical program* at North Idaho College, Lewis-Clark State College, College of Southern Idaho, Eastern Idaho Technical College, University of Idaho, Boise State University, Idaho State University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, The College of Idaho, or College of Western Idaho Be or have been married to a military member or public safety officer who was determined to be imprisoned or missing in action, or was killed or became totally and permanently disabled In the situation where a military member or public safety officer becomes totally and permanently disabled, the student must be currently married to such person.

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship

Eligibility: To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria: Be an Idaho resident Be a graduate from an Idaho high school or its equivalent (GED from Idaho) Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) prior to March 1 at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov Accept all federal grant aid that is made available Enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at North Idaho College, Lewis-Clark State College, College of Southern Idaho, Eastern Idaho Technical College, University of Idaho, Boise State University, Idaho State University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, The College of Idaho, or College of Western Idaho Maintain satisfactory academic progress for financial aid purposes. Leveraging Educational Assistance State Partnership Program (LEAP)

This grant aids students attending an eligible public or private college or university within the state of Idaho, regardless of their state of residence. Awards range up to $5,000 per academic year, but the average award is $400 for full-time students. Eligible students must have financial need and must be enrolled for at least six credits. Atwell J. Parry Work Study Program

The Atwell J. Pride Foundation Regional Scholarships

For residents of areas outside of King County where Pride Foundation is working to enhance the leadership of the LGBTQ and straight-ally community: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Eastern Washington, and Northwest/Southwest Washington.

Rosenberg-Ibarra Scholarship

For LGBTIQ students who either graduated from a high school in Idaho or will be attending a college or university within the state of Idaho.

State Loan Forgiveness Programs

Robert R. Lee Promise Category B Scholarship

Beginning in the 2001-2002 academic year, all freshmen entering an eligible Idaho college or university for the first time and who graduated from an Idaho high school or its equivalent may be eligible to receive the Robert R. Lee Category B Scholarship.The Robert R. Lee Promise Category B Scholarship will provide approximately $300 per semester for up to four semesters. Institutional matches may be available at some schools. The Robert R. Lee Promise Category B Scholarship is limited to four semesters and to first-time freshmen students who are younger than 22 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which they are applying. Students must successfully complete at least 12 credits per semester and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA to remain eligible for the scholarship.Category B Eligibility:To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria: * Be a resident of Idaho and have completed secondary school or its equivalent in Idaho * Have at least a 3.0 high school GPA or an ACT score of 20 or above * Be enrolled in and complete at least twelve semester credits for the first time * Be under the age of 22 prior to July 1 of the year of the award
