Officer Brian A. Aselton Memorial Scholarship

Priscilla Maxwell Endicott Scholarship

Selection Criteria: * Entering or enrolled in a four-year college or university * Connecticut resident * Female * Active junior golfer with golf handicap * Financial need * Academic excellence

Rhea Sourifman Caplin Memorial Scholarship

Selection Criteria * Greater Hartford resident (preference to Bloomfield) * Of the Jewish faith * Accepted or currently enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning * Pursuing nursing or healthcare profession * Minimum B average in sciences * Good citizenship and active involvement in the communityAdditional materials: * Essay about why you should receive a scholarship from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford. * Financial Aid Worksheet (last page of application available at http://www.jcfhartford.org) and copy of parents' IRS 1040

Sylvia Parkinson Scholarships

Selection Criteria: * Capitol Region resident * Student attending University of Connecticut School of Medicine * Financial need * Academic excellence * Intends to practice in the Greater Hartford area

Clubs of America

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Email their essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)

The Connecticut Community Foundation Scholarship

Giving limited to the counties as mentioned in the website.

Woodbury Foundation Scholarship

Applications not accepted. Giving on a national basis.

Connecticut Society of CPAs

For college accounting majors at each college and university in Connecticut that offer a full-time curriculum leading to an accounting degree and are recognized by the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy. Requirements: Accounting majors entering their senior year who have achieved the highest standing in their accounting and general curriculum. The Ph.D. candidate awardee, in addition to making successful progress in his or her candidacy.

Eva Levitan Memorial Scholarship

To provide financial assistance to Jewish residents of Connecticut who are interested in studying at a school of nursing. Amount Awarded: $750 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to Jewish residents of Connecticut who are enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college program in nursing. Selection is based on academic record and community service.

Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity

This scholarship is not a traditional scholarship focused on rewarding academic achievement and financial need. Its specific goal is to reward and encourage innovative and creative problem solving. Apply for this scholarship if you are... -a student who has come up with a distinctive solution to a problem faced by your school, community, or family -a student who has solved an artistic, scientific, or technical problem in new or unusual ways -a student who has developed an innovative way to save the environment or improve people's health
